...alright, really only one pun: "Hey dad, how's that Spelt?" Me: "S-P-E-L-T" (or sometimes: "T-H-A-T") But all seriousness aside, it's an interesting substitute for oats, slightly more interesting flavor (or maybe just unusual). At 3-4x the price of rolled oats, it just isn't worth the price.

I like to make my own 'muesli' and add this to rolled oats and other grains for my morning breakfast. Tasty and gives me a bigger variety of grains meaning more varied nutrients.

My son, who is vegan, bought a bag from a local market and prepared it like you would oatmeal (stovetop). He added a crushed date, some blueberries and walnuts. I tried it and it was so good. I was surprised to find it on Amazon. We are on our 3rd order. The only downside is that it's much more expensive than traditional oatmeal.

I like this brand better than the last brand I was getting. Good for my cereal in the morning.
