how long does this take to overheat?

It overheats within about 5-7 minutes if you are continuously using it the whole time. It says it can handle 6 sheets. But doing 2-3 at a time seems to help it not overheat as fast. It’s a great machine for casual shredders. If you shred a ton of papers all the time I’d find another one

If you use the shredder lubricant sheet to lubricate the machine, please insert it into the paper entry and shred it like shredding normal paper.

Can this shredder do CD’s?
