Sriracha Chili Sauce, 17 oz

Got this during the Sriracha shortage a while back. Didn't expect it to be better than the more popular "rooster" brand since it was cheaper and a copycat. I ended up eating my words on this judgement. It has a lot more flavor, and less painful bite. A superior version to the original. Heat levels are slightly milder, so you get a lot of warmth instead of burn, which means you can use more without it being painful, and the taste doesn't overpower or linger like the popular brand. It's just a stronger , more vibrant flavor compared to the original. I hope they keep making this as it's the best version of the sauce I have tasted.

My daughter loves it, our local store was out of sriracha. So I decided to order some online. This was a previously unfamiliar to us brand, that we decided to try and it's definitely delicious. Both my daughter and I have been putting it on everything from eggs, to ramen and French fries. It's the perfect blend of tangy spice with a little sweet to balance out the heat.

A decent Sriracha - very heavy on the garlic taste... maybe too heavy.

The sauce itself is worth a 4 star review, the flavor, while not cup of tea could easily be somone else's favorite, as this would literally be a matter of taste. The 3 star review is specifically for ordering this through Amazon. I ordered this on Nov 27th 2025, and received it quickly but the bottle most have been sitting in their warehouse for quite some time, as the expiration is for January 2026. Now, if you're able to go through 17oz bottle by yourself this might be fine for you. However something I planned to put on my lunches at work, this frightfully close expiration date is frustrating. If you want this sauce, buy it directly or you might end up only enjoying it for a couple of weeks.

My favorite Hot Sauce I use this on everything. Has a nice bite but not too hot.

This was terrible! I was expecting something at least similar to Sriracha and what I got was this weird, sweet, vinegar, peppry sauce that tasted more like Tabasco sauce than Sriracha. I don't like Tabasco sauce. The sauce wasn't even spicy, it was just peppery like too much pepper was used in it and super vinegary, basically like a sweetened Tabasco sauce or at least how I remember it being 15+ years ago when I last tasted it. I guess I have to grin and bear it and buy the Underwood stuff.

This is the most delicious sauce especially on Asian takeout and seafood.
