Unfortunately uou have to use their balls ONLY! Metal bats work great! **Q: Can you hit these with a plastic or foam bat? Is aluminum better?** A: Plastic bat would be better. This is definitely a beginner pitcher. More for todlers. The balls are soft. I bought this for my 5yo and he outgrew it in about 2 months. Does.not throw far or hard. **Q: can wiffle balls be used?** A: Where are you finding cheap replacement balls? Replacement balls for this are $17 for two balls ($8.50 each!). **Q: What is everyone using for replacement balls? The official ones are $9 each. Crazy to me.** A: Should be about 10.00 for two yes it is crazy ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fanntastic product *by on Reviewed in Canada December 17, 2025* Great for boys transitioning from t-ball to pitching. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pitching machine! *by on Reviewed in the United States September 10, 2026* This pitching machine performed much better than expected! I gave it to my grandson for his 5th birthday and it was a total hit for the entire family! Seven adults and my grandson played nonstop for almost two hours. Even the two year old loved chasing the balls and reloading the machine. I purchased high quality batteries and it worked perfectly. I only wish the Amazon description would have mentioned the pitcher will also work with an A/C adapter that can be purchased separately. Considering the cost of the machine, the $7.00 adapter should have been included! Otherwise, I highly recommend! ## Frequently Bought Together - Franklin Sports Kids Pitching Machine - Plastic Baseball Pitching Machine for Kids Batting Practice - MLB Power Pitcher with Adjustable Speeds - Urspasol Foam Baseballs Soft Baseballs 12 Pack with Mesh Bag for Youth Teenager Players Training Ball Sporting Batting Ball Safety Hitting and Fielding Indoor Outdoor Play White - GoSports Baseball & Softball 5 Piece Base Set - Rubber Field Bases for Kids & Adults --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/726670967-franklin-sports-mlb-pitching-machine-for-kids-plastic-adjustable-speed](https://www.desertcart.is/products/726670967-franklin-sports-mlb-pitching-machine-for-kids-plastic-adjustable-speed) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
