Basic pool thermometer that is pretty accurate. It is made of plastic and the turtle is made of rubber so it is safe to be around kids, it is lightweight and floats around the pool doing its job. It feels a little cheap so I wouldn’t say it is very durable and will probably only last one swim season but it is a good price and compatible with any swimming pool big or small.

Does the Job
The small size doesn’t get in the way off swimming or playing. The thermometer is easy to read and the turtle is fun. String broke almost immediately, but didn’t bother me.

Works as designed, but the string is of poor quality. It should be using a nylon one.

It’s great, but the cord is cheap and doesn’t last long in chlorine water, so I just use cable ties.

Nice but not Long-Lasting
This worked great in our hot tub until it did not. By that, I mean that after about 6 months the mercury filled glass element in the thermometer became detached from the base and, importantly, the temperature scale. Made it fairly useless at that point. Would be happy to spend a few extra dollars for something that lasts a bit longer. Open to suggestions.
