I have to say though, strength of flavour, to me at least, seems stronger in hot water. It mixes perfectly in both. Consistency is much like any squash but be aware it is a concentrate! It's very sweet if you use too much, so important to mix as per manufacturers instructions (2 ml syrup with 248 ml water). Flavour's are very pleasant and more subtle than normal squash and keep me suitably hydrated; I can't say I noticed my energy level is positively affected in any way.
