Fine Product
This chuck is another fine product from Vevor. I purchased it to replace my older 6" 3 jaw chuck because I only had one set of jaws and was limited to holding my work pieces. The accuracy with the Vevor Chuck is good, and it is well built. This is probably the fourth chuck that I have purchased from Vevor, and all performed as expected.

Great 6 jaw chuck for more work and less buck
This fit my jet lathe 1340 very nicely the D1-4 spindle was almost perfect fit I did clean up the chuck and remove a lot of grit and oxide dust but overall I was able to get it balanced to 0.0 01TIR

This chuck is well built and works well. I installed it on my weld positioner device, and it works great.

Missing some necessary hardware
Decent quality chuck for the price. I was disappointed that it did not come with a t-wrench for loosening and tightening the chuck. The package also did not include the bolts needed to attach the backing plate to the chuck. Heads up for anyone purchasing this. You will need to buy or make a t-wrench and the metric threaded bolts to attach the backing plate to the chuck as they are not included.

Less Than .001" of Runout
I am shocked how precise this chuck is. Once I mounted it on a LO backing plate, I am getting consistently less that .001" of runout, which is remarkable. I fully disassembled, cleaned, and lubed the chuck. The internal components appear to be well-machined and have very close tolerances. The only two jabs I could throw at it is that the back cover plate is made of plastic instead of steel and it applies friction to retain the scroll. You can't tighten it down fully because it will bind the scroll, so you have to leave the screws a little loose. I see this potentially wearing/loosening over time. Second is that the jaws are not numbered on the chuck itself. They are numbered on the "ways" of the jaws, but you have to completely remove the jaws in order to see the numbers. I purchased a CME 8" LO backing plate on Amazon and to my amazement it was a perfect fit for this chuck.

Rusty Gritty and Burrs
Chuck was rusted badly inside and where jaws slide in body. No lube except where they wiped it off, oiled it, and bagged it. Every machined surface has burrs leftover from machining. VERY tight to turn and gritty, would seize up when adjusting jaws. Even cleaning would not correct due to excessive rust. Would wear extremely fast and uneven. Will return. Jaw height is also different from jaw to jaw.
