What a Bargain!
I bought this upper cabinet for my laundry room and simply did not want to spend big bucks on a cabinet that is in a laundry room. I opted for this one and hoped for the best. Hubs put it together with little effort. He got it up which was exciting considering he had to position it over the washer and dryer. But he got it up and it looks great. It is sturdy and holds huge containers of bleach, fabric softener, and various cleaning products. The gray is not too dark...it works perfectly with the beige walls. I loved it so much that I bought the same for my daughter's home. She has it in her kitchen over her coffee bar. I highly recommend it. It is well-constructed and supports heavy items.

We love it. Great price!
I understand some of the poor reviews, though Prepac has obviously gone through some design/materials changes since some of the worst. The most obvious is that the two wall mounting boards are no longer made of the same type of particle board that the rest of the cabinet is made from. Ours was medium density fiberboard (MDF) which is still softer than real wood or plywood, but much less prone to shattering. It was pleasant to assemble and the instructions were thankfully clear. Again, the negative reviews had me checking every step carefully and that helps. This is especially important with the doors. Since you have to decide which door goes where and then drill holes for the handles (which is NOT reversible if you mess up) I pondered them for quite a while. I assembled the cabinet completely except for installing the doors, put a table and long tote to set it on to attach it to the wall, then lined it up with the wall studs (thanks, stud-finder!). Got lucky and there were 4 wall studs exactly where they needed to be for full support. Attached the doors, adjusted them so they didn't interfere with each other, and project complete! I thought it was a nice touch that they included little white doohickeys to press into the visible screws so they wouldn't be noticeable. The only reason I don't give it a full 5 stars is that properly assembling and mounting it would be beyond many average people today. And using real wood or plywood for the two wall mounting boards would strengthen the entire assembly greatly at very little cost. Edit: Some of the other reviews complain that the two doors that close towards each other leave a gap between them. This was also the case with mine until I found that the hinge has an adjustment that can move each door up to about 1/8" towards the other. There are two screws, the one towards the back holds the door, the one towards the front adjusts it. It takes some tinkering and you have to loosen the back screw slightly while adjusting the front screw. Once adjusted, tighten it back up and you're good.

Great Cabinet for the Price
Use: I am using my cabinets for my laundry room, replacing the single shelf with this cabinet to increase utility in that room. Pros: - Easy to assemble: This took me a total of about 30 minutes to assemble and another 5 minutes to hang. A big reason for the time was adjusting the doors. I was also able to hang this myself. - Price: The price was great considering other, smaller cabinets at Home Depot or Lowes was much more expensive. - Quality: The quality of the materials seems great! I only have one major complaint with this which I'll elaborate on below. But as for the build quality, it is really good. Cons: - Door adjustments: This is the biggest complaint for me. The doors would not adjust properly. The single door side hits the door next to it. The double door side has a fairly large gap between the doors. I tried everything to fix both issues, but I never could get it to adjust properly. - Shipping damage: I had some scratches in the doors and shelves that came from shipping. The packating was not adequate to protect everything from damage. Summary: Overall, I am happy with this set. If I had paid more money for it, I would be rating this much lower with the issues I had with mine. The door gaps are a huge disappointment especially since I spent well over 15 minutes just trying to get the gaps right, only to find that nothing would fix them. But, this was a cheap set and they function very well, so I am very happy with them. I'd definitely recommend getting these for a laundry room or garage.

Great quality, nice doors and handles...
This is a quality cabinet. Utility cabinets in this category aren't usually the most glamorous pieces of furniture, but this (along with its larger counterpart, the Prepac Elite Collection 32-Inch Storage Cabinet ) is the best quality one I've ever bought. I've had ones from Home Depot and other outlets, including some similar things from Ikea, but this cabinet is made better than any of them. The parts were well-packaged and there was no damage to any of them, but one of the doors arrived with glue all over it. The same thing happened with the larger cabinet, except this time the glue came right off with some rubbing. Assembly took about 30 minutes with a power drill and I did it alone. The instructions are simple to follow and assembly was easy. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver, and a hammer to nail the back on. You'll also need a drill bit to complete the holes for the handles. The cabinet is pretty sturdy, but I wish the pegs that connect this unit to the bottom one were a little larger. The middle shelf is adjustable. The doors have 6-way adjustable hinges, which helped me eliminated the gap that originally appeared between the two doors. They will also help you make sure there is a tight seal between the doors and cabinet and so the doors are on straight. I like the metal door handles, which look much nicer than the plastic handles that come with most other utility cabinets. The doors have rounded edges, giving it a less utility-like feel to them. I placed this unit on top of the Prepac Elite Collection 32-Inch Storage Cabinet . I'm glad I found this combination, and at a better price than lesser-quality ones at Home Depot.

Very Nice Cabinet
I purchased this for extra clothes storage in our bedroom. It matches the Drifted Gray headboard and dresser we had purchased previously. Assembly was easy and the quality appears to be good. The only thing I didn't like is that the company only has holes pre-started (not drilled through) for placing the handles at either the top or bottom. I wanted them in the middle but an option for placing them there was not provided by the company. As such, I carefully laid out and made my own holes to place the handles where I wanted them to be. Not a big issue and other than that it is a very nice cabinet and I would not hesitate recommending it.

Horrible Quality, READ B4 BUYING
The only reason I kept this over priced particle board crap is because it was the exact size I needed for the top of a rack in my garage. It did come well packaged but with tons of dust and paint bits. The instructions were just barely a step above IKEA and the "wood" sections were NOT marked at all. I mean, common sense and looking at the pictures does give an idea of what piece goes where but how frustrating! The holes all lined up well at least so that's a good thing. HOWEVER!! THERE ARE PROBLEMS with these cabinets - First of all, as mentioned, the instructions are vague but manageable. The pieces not marked... okay not a deal breaker. Took very little time to put together and I'm almost 70 yrs old. BUT, the gap between the doors is ridiculous! I worked for about 30 minutes just fiddling with the hinges to properly fix that gap. No amount of adjustment made that gap go away. So, I went to YouTube to see if maybe there's something I need to do additionally. Nope, I'm spot on with doing the right thing to adjust the hinges. The reviews here and also the pictures mention and show a gap in the doors and so other buyers are having this issue as well. So, it's definitely not me but rather the manufacturing. The gap is unsightly and low quality looking not to mention that it allows dust inside the cabinet which is what I was trying to avoid when I bought a cabinet with doors instead of just shelving or a metal storage rack. It also has an open back but I had a piece of lightweight board that I was able to cut and fit onto the back easily. If you don't hang it on a wall, just know that the "solid" cabinet is open in the back. Now, a HUGE problem that I have to mention is the shelf supports... the supports are tiny plastic weak supports and will not hold the shelf with much weight for long. I replaced them with some extra metal supports left over from another project. I'd suggest replacing the provided ones with sturdier ones that you can find at any hardware store. But, really, why should anyone have to pay extra for better hardware when a premium cost cabinet should supply sturdier supports? I can't believe the nerve of this manufacturer charging so much for this cabinet. It's so low quality! IKEA had cheaper options for particle board cabinets but just not the size I needed. I will say that the one redeeming quality of this cabinet is the handles. The cabinet handles are very nice, heavy and make the cabinet look more high end than it is. Overall, I do not recommend this cabinet unless, like in my case, it's the exact size you need. Believe me, I searched for cabinets to get the size I could use and this was the closest. I even searched metal storage to no avail. Otherwise, this would have been returned.

Easy setup, good fit, looks great
Well engineered with all the holes lining up and no hardware issues. Took me about 1/2 hour a unit and I got 4 of them. I am put them on top of the taller unit in this style. I feel I should address some other pointed out issues. 1. It is a box, with only 9 pieces in the shipping box. 2 side panels with lots of holes, a top and a bottom with holes only on the edge, two doors, a back and a shelf with no holes and two back supports. Line up all the brown edges, keep the holes on the inside and there you go, no instructions needed. The pictures provided in the box show all of this. 2. The back in not cardboard, it in HDF. Look it up. Since it has no weight on it, so what? It looks nice. 3. If the bolts are tight and the back in nailed on it is very rigid. 4. I was itchy when I was done putting 4 together, I took a shower. 5. Packaging was very good and no damage was on the finish. 6. The hinges are six way adjustable, if the door doesn't line up go on Youtube and see how to use these. Mine are perfect. 7. The shelf is MDF, look it up, I put wood 1x1 wood strips screwed under the shelf to keep it in tension in the front and back, no sagging. 8. I mounted these to the wall with screws and a large washer to studs in the wall. They are not coming out. If I were going to use them free-standing on the wall I would put a 1x1 cleat on the bottom back for support. You will hardly see it. 9. There was a new thing smell when I put them up but that is gone after a day. It is in a 12x7 room closed up. My new truck smelled longer than these did. I do not have any super ninja building skills and these worked out great. Take your time and look at the pictures on the paper. The finish looks good and I think they are well made.

Arrived damaged...
As a smaller, cheaper alternative to IKEA's Besta wall cabinet this is ideal. Here it is, waiting to be hung on the wall. ( The smaller box on top is the wall-mount fold down desk, also from Amazon. ) I'll put the doors on afterwards. I covered the doors with this: Art3d 17.7"x78.7" Peel and Stick Wallpaper - Decorative Self Adhesive Vinyl Film Wood Grain Wallpaper for Furniture Cabinet Countertop Shelf Paper, Beech https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NVFKVWY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dG5dEbW9VPDRS I bought the contact paper on Amazon, as well. It ramped the looks up nicely. I'll add a picture later when I get them mounted to the wall. I'm going to hang them low at credenza height, forgo using external hardware, and use hidden, touch-to-open latches I bought separately to keep the lines clean. Between this and a wall-mount desk, my tiny guest room will be well-appointed for when my son comes home on leave. The assembly was simple but I was lucky I didn't throw away the third bag of hardware because it was embedded in the packing material. And this leads to my major complaint: packing and shipping. The journey from WA to GA was too much for the minimal packaging relative to the heavy weight and unwieldy shape of the box it came in. They would do much better by shipping it in 2 cartons; one long one and one compact one, with the hardware in ONE bag, MUCH better labeled. Hey, how about a nice, bright red bag for ALL the hardware?😀 Obviously, the tape had worn off one end of the box from being dragged and, apparently, the whole contents spilled out, sustaining nicks, scratches, and crumbled corners that became evident as I unpacked the pieces. They recouped the packaging and taped the box back up but the damage was done. Returning stuff like this is, as we all know, a major PITA, so I am, perforce, "content" to conceal what I can and live with it. They do offer replacement parts and hardware but I'm still trying to get moved into my new house and need to forge ahead without getting bogged down in such details. The quality is consistent with the price. I'd give 5 stars but for the lousy packaging. Yes, the shipper could have handled it better but if you're going to ship this item over 2600 miles, you NEED to pack it better. I am a tractor-trailer driver and that is my professional opinion.😀

Great product for utility/laundry/garage
These were a great price to begin with, so I was surprised by the quality of the fit and finish. Very easy to assemble and install. You may want to add some bumpers so that the doors close a bit more quietly.

and I'm in love. The handles come included and they are great
bought so many pieces to finish our new laundry room, and I'm in love. The handles come included and they are great. Those alone would have been $15 each at Home Depot. Definitely worth it. Looks clean, easy to put together ( my husband says ), basic instructions and minimal tools. I love them.

Surpassed my expectations and decently easy to assemble
This was a very pleasant surprise. I thought it would be decent but I didn't realize it would be great. I'd read a lot of reviews on how the installation was difficult so I was a little concerned. The last time I put a piece of furniture together I put a chisel through my hand (a chisel wasn't even required in the directions). It took about half an hour for me to the put the unit together and another half an hour to hang it. The hardest part was adjusting the doors after it was hung... and that was only because I was adjusting them in the wrong direction and wondering why they weren't looking better. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Installation wasn't soul-consuming, it looks much pricier than it actually was, and it's holding very, very well in the wall. Make sure you're mounting it into your 2x4s in at least one area though... this won't hold on the wall with just anchors. She's heavy.
