Legitimately the best dictionary I’ve ever used. Definitions aren’t trying to be wordy or artistic. Just fantastic definitions. I won’t use any other outside of getting additional special definitions

I ordered this dictionary as “Used - Like New,” but to my surprise, it was actually brand new! The book arrived in perfect condition, with no marks or signs of use. As for the content, Longman dictionaries are always reliable and easy to use, especially for learners and non-native speakers. The definitions are clear, with helpful examples and explanations. Definitely a great purchase! Highly recommend it.

This is a very comprehensive dictionary with definitions that are very easy to understand. Also includes synonyms and occasional pictures. Great for the family as it omits offensive slang words that are inappropriate for youngsters. Very impressed with the work

This is a great simple dictionary for clearing up the definitions of words. There are enough definitions to cover the common usages of words. There aren't big words in the definitions that would cause you to not understand them. There are times when you'll need to use a bigger dictionary like the Oxford American to find a proper definition of a word, and there are some words that aren't in this dictionary.

Im a teacher first and foremost and the best prop you can ever give a student is a visual representation of the thing you want to teach them. The excellent illustrations in this dictionary make this an easy task.
