The protein-to-calorie ratio feels solid, though I'll admit I try to limit myself to one or two servings when my blood pressure or sodium intake warrants it. It’s not the softest or sugar-lightest jerky out there—but if what you want is reliable, tasty, protein-rich meat snacks that travel well, this is a top-tier choice

I love Jack Link's Beef Jerky. I almost didn't order it due to the reviews about the mold, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway, because it's so much cheaper than the in-store prices. Mine arrived in great shape, and was fresh. The only issue I have with it is the same I have with all the jerkies these days. They're all too moist. There really shouldn't have to be an expiration date, which is, or was, the point of jerky in the first place. I open the bag and lay out the pieces on paper towels on a plate and let it dry. Of course, I have to hide it in the microwave, or it I'd eat it all before it had a chance to dry.
