Very lightweight and packs down small!
This was my first Renogy product. I ordered this because the size was interesting. I was skeptical of the quality but this pretty nice! I laid it on the windshield of the truck and leaned against the porch. It is hard to get all the panels to line up the way a portable panel with legs does. But I realized this panel has a different function so I can’t really compare it. It got about 20W less than my PV2000 BLUETTI panel but given the way this lays out, I’m okay with that. It is very light weight and fold easily to the compact size. I tried on the backpack straps that it comes with and it’s quite comfy to wear. See photos, I’m 5’7” for scale. The pocket is. Ice to hold the straps if you don’t want to use them and it’s holds the cable with MC4 connectors without having to jam them. I appreciate the many loops on it to make hanging easy for different setups. Would need to buy some clips for that. The highest I got in testing today’s output was 146 watts in late morning but it’s late in the year (mid-Sept) and I’m in Montana so the sun is lower and I have clouds off and on. Again, I don’t expect the same rating as a more rigid panel. If your traveling with limited space such as car camping, this is a must have!

Easy to use with Van Camping
Great portability. I’ve been using the Renogy 200W solar blanket with my van on camping trips, and it’s become one of the most reliable pieces of gear in my setup. The biggest advantage is portability. Unlike rigid panels, this blanket folds down compactly and stores easily in the van. Setup is quick—unfold it, angle it toward the sun, and plug it in. When I’m moving campsites every day or two, that convenience really matters. Performance has been solid.

200w an hour for any power station!
This solar blanket exceeded my expectations, pumping out 180-200w of energy to my 1kw power station, even not in direct sunlight! Love the portability and weight, easy to travel with when car camping with conveniently placed handles and cord storage!

Quality product
Very impressed by the overall build quality of this portable panel. I tested it out of the box, in direct sun exposure, and it was very close to the optimal 200 Watts rating. It looks like this will be very durable in actual use conditions while camping. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Fits a very particular purpose.
I'm a solar enthusiast and when ever I get new solar stuff, I'm super excited to try them out. This is a solar panel blanket. As the name imply, it's supper to work like a blanket. I would separate this from a portable panel. Portable panels are still more rigid and they have their own usage.. For this panel, you're suppose to laying this on top of something, hence blanket. This works great if you put this on top of your car hood, windshield, or anywhere on top of a vehicle. To me this would work great on top on a windshield. Not only you get solar, you're protecting your car from the heat. You can also just hang this on the side of a RV with all the hooks. This wasn't made to stand on the ground. There isn't any legs to stand on. Lay this on top of a cart with the perfect angle, I get close to 150w and laying flat will get around 138w. This is not bad as this is the summer and the extreme heat will not let it go higher. I'd imagine in the cooler heat, this will get in the 180w+ This panel is based on the N-type so the outputs are generally higher. One thing I do not like about this panel is the low voltage. The working voltage is only 16.8v and that's too low. It's brother 400w version is 33.6v. I guess all they did with the 400w version is they seried 2 of the 200w together to get to 33.6v.

136 watts is not enough
I'm very disappointed in the performance of this panel. I really wanted to love it because it's design is great and so easy to use. Everything that people say about that is true but, I used the panels for 5 days out in Bakersfield CA where there is no shortage of sun and never got more than 136 watts. I was using it to power my Bluetti 200 to power my Bouge refrigerator, which was using around 150 watts, and my phone, which uses about 8. Consequently, each day I was losing charge & ending up with about a 10 % lose per day. By the 5th day I had only a 50% charge at the end of a gorgeously sunny day. I'm so sad. I really wanted these panels to do the job & sadly I will be returning the panel.
