We use this CyberPower CP1500AVRLCD3 UPS in a professional IT and office environment to protect workstations and network equipment. Setup was straightforward, and the unit was ready for use immediately. The LCD display is clear and provides useful real-time information on load, battery status, and runtime. Power delivery has been stable, and the UPS has performed as expected during outages and voltage fluctuations. The number of outlets is sufficient for multiple devices, and the USB ports are a useful addition. Overall, this is a dependable UPS that meets our business requirements for power protection and system reliability.

Some things I learned about this UPS - perhaps similar for others 1. The 6 battery backed sockets are very close together. The same is true of the surge-protected outlets. I ended up purchasing 8" extenders so all miscellaneous-sized plugs would fit. 2. The first power outage was at 1:20 AM. We didn't need ongoing internet at that hour, so I powered off the device to save battery. Unfortunately, when I did want it on at 7AM and there was still no hydro it would not power on because there was no hydro. For now if this happens, probably the correct step is to remove the external load and leave the UPS on. I'm also going to test to see if a cheap inverter plugged into the car will give it enough for a kickstart. Perhaps as a last gasp I'll get a small generator to get it going again. 3. The UPS does not power up automatically when power is restored if has become off, whether manually turned off or run out of battery. This requires human intervention to manually power on. In our case, since we stepped out while hydro was down and the UPS off, things like our internet did not come up until we got home, meaning we had no remote access to cameras and other household electronics. The workaround in this situation is to temporarily relocate router plugs to direct hydro outlets. 4. Not UPS but the "PLUGTUL 14 Gauge Short Extension" cables that we ordered had a small lip around the plug that had to be partially trimmed off before they would sit side by side in the UPS sockets. When the power outage occurred the device showed there was an estimated 180 minutes of run-time. After I removed my laptop it went up to 280 minutes. Plugged in: Broadband router, home router, wireless hd and home phone. In the end I gave it 4 stars because there was no way to power it on without external hydro.

Works well to run my large screen tv, PC, Printer & stereo long enough to shut everything down properly when the power goes out. It's great for balancing the electricity that comes into the house in my rural area. I'm sure it has saved many of my electronic devices with all the spikes we get here. I love the big power button. I don't need to fight with it to turn it on and off. Very happy with it.
