**Q: What replacement size batteries can I buy or this light?**
A: If you should have a reason to replace the 18650 1200mAh lithium ion battery and have not opened the case to check it please be advised that the lights I bought in 2022 have a flat top rather than a button top battery. While the case length is the same the button top will not fit in the holder because of the button's added length.

**Q: ANyone have theirs longer than a year?**
A: Yes. I have one mounted on a wall 15-30 feet from my neighbor's house that only gets 4-5 hours of direct sun. I put the light up, because my neighbor had no side-porch light and I wanted them to be safe, especially during cold, icy weather. It has been up nearly two years with no issues. It is mounted below a soffit about 10 ft off the ground.

**Q: What is the lifespan of these units?**
A: I have about 20 of these lights, some as old as Jan 2020. Most are the old style but I have some of the new style as well. The light changed design styles sometime in 2020. None have gone out on me yet. They’re low maintenance but I do need to get out there and wipe the solar panels off - I haven’t done that yet.

**Q: Some reviews have pictures that look like they're mounted under a deck/porch cover.  Does this work even if it's not in direct sunlight?**
A: I have them set on the villa wall, so I get about 2-3 hours of direct light max on it.
Rest of the time it's charging via indirect light. I haven't had issues with them charging up. Even with rain. I have few set as always on when no sun (lesser bright) and few set as light on motion (brighter)

The other option low light on and brightness increase on motion is also okay, those finish charge 2 hours before sun light on morning. 

Overall extremely impressed.

Probably one of the few very rare times where if I could give more than 5 stars I truly would. I have bought multiple styles of outdoor solar lights through the past years and some gave been great, some not so great but none, NONE have been perfect. Each had at least one detriment or annoying detail. Until now. Although the home I purchased is located within downtown of a city, it sits semi secluded on its own hidden down a gravel road. The road itself is hard to find and mine is the only house back it surrounded by woods. Originally there are 2 street lights, one in front, one in back that worked. Neither now lights up dependably leaving my yard in utter darkness. I installed solar lighting pretty much everywhere but along the fencing bordering my side yard. I work long hours graveyard shift and walk home from my shuttle while still dark. Got tired of stumbling my way up my front yard in the dark so I looked at tons of styles and reviews before choosing these. So glad I got these! They are motion activated so they dont light up until I walk past. They can be set to stay on longer if wanted. Had these installed a week now and so far theyve held charge until daylight every night. I mounted them on the top rail of my chain fencing and as such they throw light wide across my yard and off to each side. The best part: honestly by far the BRIGHTEST lights Ive ever owned. I got the cool white choice. The first time I came home and walked past I was almost blinded by the brightness and it took me aback for a second for I was not expecting it. Most solar lights have a dimness compared to say hardwired electric. You would swear these are hardwired. They have a very short delay of turning off once motion stops being detected.They are also extremely reasonably priced considering how awesome they are. They are also supposedly decently weather proofed and I can honestly agree as so far this week theyve encountered snow,slushy icey snow, icey rain, high winds, and torrential downpour rain. Each unit is still completely dry all around. They also seem durable and well built, not cheap and chintzy. I decided to return and purchase a few more sets. The only factor I have yet to discover is overall durability on length of time they last. Although at how low priced if I get a full year I'll be content.
