This stuff works, that's according to our vet dentist.
This stuff works. I initially started using this because my furbaby's breath was HORRIBLE. It took about 4 weeks of using it every single day, but eventually the smell went away. Completely. Then, I stopped using it. About four months later, the bad breath came back so I decided to take her to the vet to see a dentist. My dog is seven years old. I took her to the vet last week to see that dentist. The dentist said for my dog being a senior dog, she has excellent teeth. She thinks there might be two teeth with some tater. But the fact that my furbaby has never had a tooth pulled or any infections, at seven years old, simply shocked the dentist. She did say that adding these probiotics certainly didn't hurt my furbaby, but in fact, most likely helped keep the acid in her belly and not in her mouth causing bacteria to grow. She also said that the probiotic may have stopped any acid reflux. It was a great appointment and I would definitely recommend this product. My dog's teeth are remarkably clean, according to the vet dentist. The color of the powder is brown. I simply add a bit of water to make it a gravy, my dog eats it right up.

Doggy death breath? Try this!
PROS: * Works. Full stop. CONS: * Price. Can be a bit pricey for the dosing instructions. Use: My dogs have had their teeth cleaned on the regular for years. At least once a year, but usually twice. Its expensive if you don't have a "health plan" (thankfully I do). But my doggies are getting old and one of them is now considered at risk of not waking up from the anesthesia required to clean their teeth. Even with regular cleaning, my doggies breath would become atrociously rancid to the point that directional breathing toward me would induce a vomiting reflex. I didn't of course, but it was that gnarly. We tried water additives. Various and myriad chew toys. Along with the cleanings, they did help and sometimes for stretches of time. But then it would always return. We do try and brush our dogs teeth, but it really seems stressful for them so we don't do it often especially on the lil old lady. Then we saw this product advertised everywhere. Read the ingredient list which seemed innocuous enough and decided to give it a go. Results? - Week 1 - a noticeable improvement. Walking around their breath wafts of death were less imminent death. - Week 2 - they could give me kisses or sleep/sit near by (within inches vs meters) and I couldn't smell but trace hints of death. - Week 3 - we did the lip lift to check the gums and we noticed less irritation and the tartar build up, though present, was clearly diminished. - Week 4 and beyond - we let out lil old lady sleep with us again, and the corgi well we can play fetch with him without worry of keeling over due to his bad breath. Though both never had difficulty with bowel movements, I can see a noticeable difference in color, size, and texture. For the lil old schnauzer, it's almost night and day: from dispersed deer pellet pooping pattern to a few contiguous logs. They both seem happier and healthier than they've been in a while - we had almost forgotten this facet of their personalities. Be a skeptic, it's okay. Buy the smallest one and try it out for two weeks, at a minimum. I would recommend this to anyone who has similar problems with their doggie breath (or other symptoms this product may improve).

Effective but expensive
It seems to work for my two Maltese, but it is VERY expensive! Still, it is cheaper than a cleaning at the vets!

in my experience not worth the money
have not used this product before so i will update if i change my mind, but currently 1 star simply because i’m extremely peeved over the packaging. i was aware the bottle would be smaller (xs dog), but THIS SMALL for almost the same price as the other bottles is insane. also the scooper was INSIDE, AT THE BOTTOM, UNDERNEATH ALL THE POWDER?? i literally had to dig it out with the end of a spoon. chapstick next to it for size comparison. to a i really hope this wont turn out to be a waste of money. EDIT: gave this to my dog for 4 days, in my opinion her breath has not gotten any better and if it has at all, it isn’t noticeable. Updating now instead of later because the last night I used it she started liquid pooping and had me up every single hour of the night to go to the bathroom (she never ever does this and besides the powder there’s been no other changes in her diet or lifestyle). Liquid poop every hour all night and every hour or 2 most of the day + she threw up at one point. I will give the benefit of the doubt: I understand just because a product works well for other pets doesn’t mean it will work for all pets, I guess I’m still upset that I wasted 30 bucks on such little product that made my dog sick anyway. Also, my dog is a chihuahua so she is prone to dental issues which worsens her breath. Maybe if she didn’t get sick it would’ve helped in the long run, but I don’t think I’ll risk continuing using this product. Based on our experience, I personally would not recommend it.

It works for bad breath IF...
It worked great for one of my pugs, but the other WILL NOT touch ANY food with this in or on it. And from what I understand, it has to be on top of kibble type food for it to work anyway. We even tried mixing it into a wet chicken bowl (the Cesar ones) to get her to eat it. Not a chance and she normally devours those things. So we gave up with it because this stuff is so expensive. I'm not spending the money if I can't get everyone to use 1 product. Back to dental chews it is. And it's not very versatile since it won't work if you fresh feed. Only works with kibble...

Excellent product
When I got this for my dog I was scared the she may not like it or that didn't work for her breath. She loves the taste, it doesn't smell, it came with the spoon for perfect service, so ease to use. She can't eat her food without it and her breath improves incredibly.
