What the difference between tab tensioned projector screen and non tab tensioned projector screen?

Non tension screen using gravity to limit the wave on the screen while tension screen will apply pull tension on both side to take out the wave. Tension screen will give you a supper flat screen surface for viewing project images/videos.

How does tension system handled the "V" aberation present on many screens?

This screen is terrible. The one I bought wouldn't stay up.
