5.1 speakers brought back to life
I bought this adapter so that I could use an old set of Logitech 5.1's on my PC that currently does not have the compatible 5.1 sound card. The sound quality is no different than playing regular stereo audio through them directly. Thanks to Luke for sharing pics of the same speakers, else I would have passed this by. For those who might not know, make sure to pick up a "male AUX to male RCA adapter" if you don't have one for PC/gaming/etc so you can plug your speakers into a headphone jack. Great product.

Perfect Solution for Audio Jack to Surround Sound
I needed an adaptor to go from the audio jack on my TV to a surround sound system I had. I already had a splitter to go from one (green) audio jack to a red & white (left & right) audio output. I needed another adaptor to move from the two red/white connectors to the 3-cord (green-black-yellow) surround sound system. This worked perfectly the second I plugged it in: beautiful surround sound through all 6 speakers. Awesome.

Worked great for me
All my 5 Dolby 5.1 speakers now have sound when I use this small and simple device to convert my laptop stereo audio output to feed them. Only 2 or 3 speakers could play without it. So, it worked great for me.

Works great
Simply plug in and go. No need to replace older style computer speakers/subwoofer setups. This converts a 3.5mm phono plug into the 3 phono plug computer setup perfectly. Well done.
