It smells delicious but not overpowering. Your hair will defintely smell good and be very clean. It should not be used all the time because it is a clarifying shampoo, meaning it will remove all the product build up from leave in conditioners and daily hair care products. The Cowash by As I am is great for regular washings because it conditions while cleaning. I love this product line. I have natural locs/dreads.
