What are shrink bands and how do they work?

Shrink bands are tamper-evident plastic sleeves that shrink tightly around the cap and neck of a bottle when heat is applied. They provide a visible safety seal that reassures customers that your product hasn't been opened or tampered with.

How do I choose the right shrink band size for my bottles?

Measure the closed lid at its widest point, then choose coverage height. Open our Brand Store and select Shrink Band Size Guide. Between listed diameter limits, use the higher limit; at an exact limit, use that row. Confirm the selected listing.

Do I need a heat-gun or shrink tunnel to apply shrink bands?

Yes, a heat source like a heat-gun or shrink tunnel is required to shrink the band securely around your product. A heat-gun is sufficient for small-scale or manual operation. Please DO NOT USE a hair dryer.

Are the shrink bands easy to remove once applied?

Yes! Our shrink bands are designed to be secure, but easy to remove when you’re ready to use the product. Simply tear along the perforated line to release the band, no heavy tools required.

What type of plastic is used on the shrink bands?

Our shrink bands are made from PVC plastic. Clear bands let customers see the closure underneath, while colored and printed options provide a different look. Check the selected listing for its color and dimensions.
