My plants LOVE Marphyl!! I recently moved to a rural location with well water which - despite lots of filtration & a reverse osmosis system - my large family of plants did NOT seem to adapt to easily. As a vegan who appreciates organic options when available, I have never been interested in the chemical or animal-based fertilizers/plant food on offer at the big box or garden stores…but I worried I would finally have to compromise because I wanted my plants to survive. Thank GOODNESS I searched around before buying those other products, because I found Marphyl! Vegan, natural & organic, small Canadian business - what’s not to love?! Even better, my plants went crazy after feeding it to them - new shoots, green glossy leaves, every single one is thriving. For reference, I have 10 orchids (most are over 7yrs old), 6 organic aloe (3yrs), a giant fern (20yrs), 2 enormous crown of thorns (18yrs), a massive porcelain flower (5yrs), multiple amarylis (18yrs), an arrowhead (10yrs), a purple velvet (4yrs), a boatlily (10yrs), and some wee succulents (3yrs). I also watered my new garden lavender with some during a challenging phase where I thought they might die - they look so happy and healthy now! My sister is also singing Marphyl’s praises after I recommended it to her - she has a large indoor plant family, too, and they’re all so much happier with their new watering routine. For those mentioning the smell - yes, it was interesting the first time I opened the bottle (I was prepared, lol!), but it just reminded me of riverbank mud in the summer - sometimes it has a faintly unpleasant odour. This was similar, but super mild and gone after the second watering. Bottom line: do yourself & your plants a favour; GET THIS PRODUCT! It’s magic! I will be ordering the jug-size to keep my plants healthy all winter long.
