Bought 2 of these for my son and I. Seems like a good sturdy kit. If your fishing in an area with lots of large debris in the water then buy the heavy magnet as you don’t have it pop off as much. I put the grapple hook and the magnet on and drug up a shopping cart with it. But you also run the risk of having it get stuck on things on the bottom you can’t drag up. I’d buy this again and is a good past time to get my son away from the Xbox.

Just opened the kit and everything looks great! Haven't used it yet because I need to apply threadlocker and wait 24 hrs. Everything in the kit looks like its very good quality and I like the extra knots in the rope and the heftiness of the carabiners. Well packed & protected for shipment, inside and outside the case. I'm glad I bought a magnet no bigger than this one because it's heavier than I thought and I don't know that I could throw it out very far if it was any heavier. I think it must be a high quality magnet.

Very well made, love the case, my son will have many hours of fun with this.
