after you bought it. expiration is about 1 year .Once you opened the Packages its recommend that you used with in 30 days after 30 days throw it out . I always keep one Package on hand . I never know when my Guinea Pigs get Sick .This Critical Care Is great.I give it 10 Stars .Please buy it .

Q: How long will one bag of 141g last, specifically for guinea pigs?

I have a Chinchiia. I am not sure. Would depend on how much you feed it . I only used about 2 wks and Chinchillia is fine now. She should go back to eating here or his regular meals. I did take my Chinchillia to a Vet. She is doing fine now. I do not think it is a good idea to feed it for ever with this product. Just till they feel better.I did put in the fridge and think it helps with the shelf life. I think all expire in 30 days. Hope helped some. Sherry
