Arrived to me charged about 80 percent and on time . Only thing once the battery goes down some after giving a jump it takes hours to recharge . But it’s dependable

I bought this some months ago because I drive for a living but hadn’t used it or even charged it. Long story short I’ve now used it six times in the last week. Worked instantly, I probably let it charge the car for about a minute or two before I started the car. And I still haven’t needed to charge the device as of yet. Hands down would 110% recommend and was worth every penny!

I owned this less than a week when my wife called me and said our daughter had left the ground effects lights on in her car all night and her battery was dead. I was too far away to be of any assistance, but I told my wife the Sharmeal Jump Starter was in my Jeep parked in the garage at home. Neither one of them had ever jump started a car before. But, my wife was able to read the included instructions and they got the car started on the first try with the Sharmeal Jump Starter. My daughter then called me later and asked for a Sharmeal Jump Starter for her birthday. It seems a little light weight and I wasn't sure if it was really going to work when I received it. The battery came almost fully charged. It was easy to plug in and finish charging it to 100%. The thing is small enough that it fits in my Jeep's center console with ease. And it has already proven it has enough power to jump start a four cylinder engine. I feel like it has already paid for itself. The only thing about it that bothers me is I just don't like keeping a lithium battery in my hot vehicle. I am planning on purchasing a fire bag to put it in just for my own peace of mind.

A very useful tool, easy to carry in your car because of its size. I ordered it because sometimes we've been left without a car engine; my car battery is starting to give me trouble, and this really works!

Overall great product and is a lifesaver if you have battery issues. My issue or the reason for reduction by a star is that I believed it would came charged and ready to use as soon as I got it. Nothing could be further from the truth. Mine was dead and to top it off it does take it quite a while to charge and had to be plugged directly into the wall. With being directly plugged in it probably took no less than 8 hours to charge completely. However what it does do when it's charged it great and will be goor for multiple times during the battery life. Another note when plugged in and you hit the power button mine drained aboy 10% of the starters battery in less than 5 secs. I assume that is to give the car battery a jolt of juice to get it to start overall it took about 20%of the battery once the cat started and was disconnectedml. I can't comment on if this thing will retain what charge it has. For the money it's a great but just don't count on it if you are stuck somewhere and need this thing to come save you when it's delivered.

Update: I came back to purchase a second one, and the product looks different now. I'm not sure if this is the newer version or something else. I wish Amazon would require sellers to create a new item instead of replacing a current item. It makes reviews unreliable. This seriously takes fooooorrrrreeeeevvvvvveeeeerrrrrr to charge, but I am shocked at its performance! I see several reviews stating they got a defective product because it won't charge... I'm betting most of them just didn't wait long enough. Keep in mind, you are charging a device with enough power to jump start a V6, with a teeeeeny tiny little USB cord! Even after reading reviews, I still thought it was taking too long. Seriously, you just need to wait. Mine arrived at 78% and took about an hour to tick up to 79%. Then it stayed there for several hours and I was losing hope, but I decided to leave it overnight based on some of the reviews I read. I looked at it maybe 20 minutes later and it was up to 94%. Then it jumped up to 100% after maybe another 20 minutes or so. It seems like the gauge may just take some time to catch up. I ordered this after I broke my Jeep and the battery died because it ended up sitting longer than I anticipated. I chose this one because it was the only one under $200 that I could get same day. It arrived fast, but I was honestly so nervous this wasn't going to work that I ended up putting it off for days because I just didn't want to deal with returning it and finding something else. I finally decided it was time to stop procrastinating, and I was absolutely shocked that my Jeep fired right up! After jump starting, the battery still reads 100%. This is what makes me think maybe the gauge isn't super accurate. Some reviews state that it only works a few times. Even if that's true, this is still 100% worth the purchase! Other reviews have claimed it's still going strong after many uses, so it's probably a toss-up, or maybe it depends on the vehicle you're jump starting. I plan to purchase another one to have on hand, in case the first one fails. I love that this is small, lightweight, and won't take up a ton of space in my already cramped overlanding setup. I was nervous because the instructions were a little weird (bad translation to English), but it was pretty simple to use. The case is a little crooked, but it's functional and keeps everything together and protected.
