Tudca is good for your liver and found this one was the best price out there.

I take one daily. The tablet is terrible in taste just like the real thing! So the trick is to have it by itself and a quick gulp of water chased with juice to remove the aftertaste. If I let it lie a minute in my capful of other tablets then the taste transfers a bit so don’t do that! You can Google TUDCA taste to find out more, and it definitely isn’t made from bear liver LoL though traditional Chinese medicine might have originally discovered it through bears. I am happy with the quality and didn’t face any issues like powder outside the capsules.

This is a very underrated supplement. This cleanses your liver, specially for those who have developed a fatty liver due to a very bad diet and alcohol consumption.

My main reason for taking it is twofold: I want the liver and protein-folding support, but I also take a pretty oil-heavy stack daily — phosphatidylcholine, gamma E, borage oil, fish oil — and needed something to help my body break all that down efficiently. In the endoplasmic reticulum, it acts as a chemical chaperone and attenuates the unfolded protein response — notably downregulating the IRE1 branch (search "IRE1 TUDCA" for the papers), while also modulating PERK and ATF6 signaling. This reduces CHOP-mediated apoptosis and suppresses JNK activation, both of which are key players in ER stress-driven cell death. TUDCA also inhibits Bax translocation to the mitochondria, stabilizes mitochondrial membranes against permeability transition, and reduces cytochrome c release — collectively protecting against both intrinsic and ER stress-induced apoptosis. In the gut, it improves bile flow and micelle formation, which emulsifies dietary fats and fat-soluble nutrients, aiding absorption and reducing the heavy, sluggish feeling that can come from an oil-heavy supplement load. Incredible product. After years of fat malabsorption and issues with bile ducts this has finally given me normal fat digestion. No more dhiarria after one week. I use ut in combination with bile salt and digestive enzymes. More energy, less pain and bloating. The only issue I have is that I am unable to find out how its sourced... if its from bears, I would really have a problem with that.
