The Vabogu Cat 8 Ethernet Cable delivers exactly what it promises—super-fast and stable internet speed with zero drop-offs. As soon as I switched to this cable, I noticed smoother streaming, faster downloads, and rock-solid gaming performance. The build quality is excellent. The cable feels thick, durable, and well-protected, with sturdy connectors that snap in securely. The shielding is impressive and really helps cut down on interference. Even when running it along walls and tight corners, it stays flexible enough to manage without kinking. Whether you’re gaming, working from home, or just want a reliable high-speed connection, this Cat 8 cable performs beautifully. Great value, great quality, and a noticeable upgrade over standard cables. Highly recommended!!! Right length easy to use

I’ve tried a lot of Ethernet cables over the years, and this Cat 8 cable stands out. The speed is fantastic—I’ve been consistently getting full performance with no drops or interruptions, even on longer runs. The build feels very solid, with thick shielding that gives confidence for both indoor and outdoor use. I’ve used it through walls and across my home office, and it hasn’t bent, frayed, or lost connectivity. It’s a bit thicker than some cheaper cables, but that’s expected with Cat 8 and actually adds durability. If you want fast, reliable wired internet, this cable is worth every penny.

I'll start by saying I purchased these cables for better cable draping in a newly installed media cabinet. My old Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables were all too long, looked sloppy, and in one case, didn't allow the door to close properly. Although T-mobile (formerly Lumos) my internet service provider (ISP) now provides fiber at 2gb and for a lesser price than my original Lumos plan, my (old) router and switch are still only rated at 1gb max. That said, I still have no way to test the supposed 40gb max throughput of a Cat 8 cable. I will of course eventually purchase a 2.5gb router and switch once the prices come down significantly. These Vabogu cables are well made and look the part of what I think a Cat 8 cable should be. The diameter is thicker than the Cat 6 (10gb max) cable I own and thicker still than my Cat5e (1gb max) cables I have been using. That tracks for me. With the additional shielding and thicker awg copper lines, any cable's dimensions should be thicker, not thinner than the previous version. I had ordered another Cat 8 branded cable prior to this one and it was thinner in diameter than my CAT 5e cables. In fact, the size was more comparable to the single fiberoptic strand coming into my ISP's optical network box. That looked and "felt scammy" to me, so I sent those back. I'll likely run these Cat 8 cables to Wifi 6 (10gb) antennas mounted in my kitchen, bedrooms and garage. That should max out the "current" throughput of my Wifi system. Again, I will upgrade to 2.5gb network equipment once the price moderates considerably. Then I'll be able to check the Cat 8 capability up to the 2gb throughput capacity of my ISP' s fiber connection. I can't imagine if / when a 40gb connection will ever be needed in a home environment, but for the tolerable increase in price, it was best for me to get the Cat 8 (40gb max) cable. I'll likely never need to run a higher version of RJ45 terminated cable through this single story, 1954 house again in my lifetime, so for me, the small increase in price was well worth the future proofing and "plug and play" longevity the Cat 8 provides.

Cables are excellent quality and the price is reasonable. For the most part most any cable you buy will meet the requirements so I look to buy a price that is not the cheapest.
