Just picked up my fourth pair. Love these, definitely staple boots in my closet. They're very comfortable, the outsoles are nice and soft, and they've got a roomy toe-box. They've got almost no ankle support. The combination squishiness of the natural crepe outsole and leather insole makes these great for treks over dry, flat, and soft surfaces. You know, like desert sand, or walking about town. They are not so great for wet, rocky stuff. Natural crepe soles can be suuuuper slippery when it's wet so mind your step when it's damp outside, especially over stuff like crosswalks lines and slick cement. As mentioned by almost everyone else on here, they run large. I normally wear a US 10-1/2 D/E (slightly wide), and on me, they're about a 3/4 size too large/long. I go a 1/2 size down, to a 10, and even with the 10 I still have a little extra room. I have tried a 9-1/2, but they're too small, (hence the 3/4). Pros: Comfy as **** Versatile, classic style Natural materials No externally visible logos (I'm not into paying to be a billboard) Cons: Poor traction when wet Inaccurate sizing information Bottom Line: Get to a Clarks brick-&-mortar to try pair on, then Amazon them and save yourself 40 bucks.

My title simply expressed my joy in purchasing this pair of Desert Boot. They are well-made (leather top + crepe sole) and beautifully designed. Considered a steal at the price! To add icing to the cake, they are also comfortable to wear. As a result, I bought another pair for my dad, who liked the comfort and design when he tried out mine.They fit true to size! However, I wanted to purchase the Beeswax version previously. Sadly, there was a significant price increase (which subsequently reverted to the first pricing). Remind me of the fluctuation of the stock market. It would be good that Amazon keep prices stable such that consumers can always get the best deals at all time.

I absolutely love the color of the taupe suede desert boot. It goes with almost everything in my wardrobe. The build quality is good; I especially dig the flexibility of the sole which makes it very comfy to walk around in these. I don't have any problems with them chaffing the backs of my feet because I ordered the right size, which was 1/2 size down from my usual size. I always wear a 12 but went to a local store to try these on before I placed my order and found that they run a little big, so I went with the 11 1/2 which fits great. I've only worn them a couple times so they aren't worn in yet, but they are still pretty comfortable. I have high arches and this is a flat-soled shoe so they aren't the greatest at keeping my feet ache-free if i'm standing or walking around for most of the day. But other than that I am very happy with these shoes because they are super stylin' and all around awesome.

The Clarks Desert Boot is a very solid choice for a boot for anyone of any age. They look great with any casual outfit, from jeans to khaki pants, and are extremely comfortable once broken in. The sizing of the boot is definitely bigger than most other shoes. You will want to purchase at least a half size down, and maybe even one whole size down depending on your feet. For example, I wear a size 11 Nike shoe, size 11 Sperry Boat Shoe, and a size 10.5 Clarks Desert Boot. Still, the boot was a bit too big for my feet at first so I could have gone down to a 10 and fit into it. Needless to say, this is the staple of many men's closets, not just for it's casual look, but for it's sheer versatility since it works well with so many outfits. I highly recommend buying a pair.

I normally don't rate anything 5 stars but these clarks desert boots are purely awesome, and so much cheaper than buying them from the store or clarks.com. Great, great product. High quality, broke in quickly, fairly comfortable and go well with just about anything. The suede is super pliable and makes for a very comfortable fit. Didn't stretch out too much so far which is good. With regular socks on, they fit perfectly. Just a little "walking" room. The classic clarks soles take a little to get used to but after a while, are really comfortable and light weight. Had a dream they tore and woke up very angry. Was gonna return them. Thank goodness it was just a dream. Hahaha. Over all, great product.

I wore out a pair of these boots over about two years, they are well constructed, the stitching hangs in there until the leather and sole give out. In my experience they run about one size too large. Not much ankle support but as comfortble as a slipper. Also kept my feet very cool, breathe very well. Nice enough to wear to the office. Will not get another pair only because of VERY poor traction. If you are walking on wet concrete, pavement, etc, its like being at the ice rink. I ALMOST went a@@ over tea kettle several times while wearing these shoes on wet surfaces. Great way to break a hip. Probably perform great in the desert where there is no rain but not the best fit for an everday shoe, for me.

Classic styling, comfortable fit, and hard wearing - Clarks desert boots are a workhorse in any man's wardrobe. Wear it with jeans, khakis, dress pants, and even shorts if you're feeling hip. These do run LARGE. I normally take a 9.5, but my foot was drowning in my normal size. Had to size down a half size for a better fit. Also worth noting - these shoes last a long time - very durable crepe rubber sole and upper.

I absolutely love these shoes/boots. They are a great value for the cost. I wear them as a substitute for Chelsea boots, which would be too informal for my office. I got size 10W and they fit perfectly and feel great. I think they are my most comfortable work shoes. Exterior seems to be decent leather, and interior is well-padded vinyl. They claim to be waterproof, which I have not tested yet but they appear to be water tight. Love them.

Very comfortable boots and I have wide feet. Didn’t hurt my bunions.

Le scarpe sono conformi alla descrizione e sono originali! Costano quasi la metà del prezzo con cui si ritrovano nei negozi. Dialogando della scarpa, oltre che nella mezza stagione le ho trovate comode anche in Estate con abbigliamento formale. Nei negozi potrete trovare l'altro formato di Désert Boot: queste sono più morbide e larghe nel piede: la misura è sempre la stessa: è solo neceasario prendere confidenza con il nuovo formato. Ottimo servizio di Amazon.

C'est mon premier achat de cette marque. La taille correspond bien, je n'ai pas eu de problème ni en longueur ni en largeur. Si je les avais essayé avant d'acheter je n'aurais rien eu à redire. Ce sont des chaussures de très bonne qualité et très confortables. Je les utilise pour le travail et j'en suis entièrement satisfait. Le seul bémol est quand on les utilise pour une marche de quelques km. Les lacets ne tiennent plus en place et il faut les refaire tous les 20min, sinon on a l'impression que le pied flotte dans la chaussure.

As you’d expect from Clark’s, another well built shoe that is exceptionally well constructed and comfortable. I purchased these in a wide fit and, as such sized down 1/2. The fit is very comfortable with adequate arch support and plenty of room for wider feet, the leather is high quality and relatively thick without being rigid, and the rubber soles are great for cold weather (though I’d expect them to wear relatively quickly in the summer months as they are rubber). Highly recommend these shoes.

La qualità delle scarpe non si discute. Mi permetto di dare un piccolo consiglio sul numero da scegliere sulla base della mia esperienza: leggendo le recensioni più risolute ho deciso di scegliere il 42 a pianta stretta, che indosso normalmente, ma le scarpe si sono rivelate in filo strette. Il consiglio è di prendere mezzo numero più grande.
