This case is phenomenal i see a lot of bad reviews saying it doesn’t fit right or the the zipper is to hard to zip but ive had no issue with either of those thing, the case is nice and slim and with the hard case it feels very high quality i noticed some people saying that there is a little pillow inside of the case at the top and that if u set it in the pillow pushes up on the top of the switch making it hard to close but in reality the top of your switch is supposed to to go under that pillow to prevent it from moving around in the case ,i highly recommend this case fits very snug and safe

Had this case for 6 months now and I got to say it still looks good as new. No fading, no scratches, it is kind of costly but it’s an investment to protect you high value item. The case is hard and I’ve dropped it a couple times about a feet of distance from floor but don’t drop your things lol. I like the colors on it as I chose the black case. It has lots of storage for extra gars and it just looks really nice and feels nice. Definitely invest in this item if you don’t mind the price.

I only have one test for a handheld case: I put the device in the case and I push hard on the analog sticks to see if I can get the sticks to click (L3/R3). Most cases (90%+) fail this test. The tomtoc Slim Switch 2 case passed with flying colors. It's great because I can put it my laptop bag without worrying about it getting squished/damaged. I also really like how the colorful "tomtoc" letters contrast nicely with the rest of jet black case. It's the same subtle color scheme that Nintendo chose for the Switch 2 (mostly black with just a subtle splash of blue and red in the joycons). Fun. This is a perfect daily driver case to take your switch with you on the go. For longer trips that require cables, a dock, or pro controller, there are other great cases that will better fit your needs.

With the Switch 2 already on the larger side, I wanted a slim case to use when traveling. I had a hard time finding a case that fit the bill (tried 4-5 different cases). Many have a large compartment on the top that fit joycons and cables, adding excess bulk. Some of the slimmer cases didn’t fit the Switch 2 very well and I was worried the buttons would be pressed in the case. The tomtoc case has a super hard shell so when I pack it I won’t have to worry about anything getting damaged. (As a bonus, I waited for this color to be in stock and it’s so pretty! The grey zipper, strap and silver hardware just look amazing.) Zippers are sturdy and move smoothly. The Switch 2 fits snugly in the case yet here is room around all the buttons so they won’t be damaged or pressed when inside the case. There’s a small pad that helps keep the Switch 2 in place which I thought was odd at first but think it’s to help ensure that the shoulder buttons are not going to bump or be pressed while in the case. The fabric that touches the screen has a soft velvety feel and shouldn’t scratch the screen. It’s also a bit padded for some extra protection. There’s space from 12 games which is more than enough for me when I travel. Another nice detail is that the strap is convertible. You can unhook if you prefer a wrist strap or maybe want to connect it to another bag or strap for some extra security.

My first initial thought was that the switch 2 doesn’t fit super snug in the case. When I zipped the case shut it seemed to be better. If I wiggle the case around a bit when it is closed I can feel the switch 2 moving up and down. Other than that, it’s still a nice slim, protective case compared to the other cases on the market and it has great build quality. The inside lining is soft and the outside is textured and hard.

So, I wanted a place to store my Switch 2 when I was not playing it and that also I can use to transport around the house without fear of it falling and breaking and this does the trick. The zippers are nice and don't feel like they are going to get stuck, the bumps protect the buttons, having to use a not small amount of force to be able to press them through the case. The spacer makes it so the shoulder buttons are not pressed when inside the case. The material is like a sort of fabric, feels nice to the touch and premium. Can you get cheaper cases? Yes. Can you get cases that come with more stuff? Also yes. But this case, for me, struck a good balance of durable, premium, price and function, it comes with what you need, no extra unnecessary fluff that you are going to use (Except maybe for the wrist strap, but since is part of the handle it doesn’t add anything extra hanging from the case).

10/10 I take this case everywhere with me. It's well built, sturdy zipper and handle. It fits in my purse nicely. The lettering / color was a fun bit of nostalgia as well.

Excellent quality case from Tomtoc. Internal material is super soft and feels amazing, my switch will be well protected from scratches. Lots of different colour combinations, I went with Sesame which is a Black/Grey Case with Red Accents. 12 game card slot flap for games, other side is even softer than the case lining, I have a screen protector on my switch but if you don’t it should be well protected from scratches. There were a few complaints that the switch doesn’t sit all the way to the top and they have put a bumper in, also that it is tight to close. I didn’t find this at all and actually the bumper stops the trigger buttons from hitting the top of the case and also makes it a snug fit inside. I didn’t experience any issues when closing it to zip it up in terms that was bulky or didn’t fit. The zips are great quality and the handle is ok. Would recommend if you just want to carry your switch and some games, if you want to carry accessories like, charger, cables etc don’t buy this case then complain as it’s really only designed for just the console.
