This straightener is only $12.99, so expectations should be kept in check. It works, and my hair is easy to straighten, so I didn’t have any issues. However, I prefer a different type of straightener for a more polished look. I do like that it’s safer than a flat hot iron. It’s easy to use, a good small size (though not particularly light), heats up fairly well, and has a design similar to others. My main concern is the battery in such a low-priced product. Overall, you’re probably better off spending more for a higher-quality straightener.

UPDATE: Charge only lasted the day after i bought used it once just went to go use it again and it was dead now i got to wait hrs and hrs for it to charge. I only used it a few times, it took over 4 hours to charge i dont know how long a charge lasts yet, if u use the iron like a brush it doesnt go thru unless u hold the hair out it does work that way and it did straighten my hair so far so good. Oh and to me it feels like it weighs more then it says.

Doesn't straight hair very well. It does heat up fast but it just does not work very well.

This arrived with a piece of plastic that was somewhat melted around the brush itself, so I will need to clean the brush and make sure it functions well before using it on my hair. I wasn’t too impressed with how it arrived, but hopefully it will do the job on my thick curly hair. It is a nice weight and size for travel. It comes with with its own carrying case and some clips or styling as well.
