I have ordered many hair color products from Amazon. I have a severe allergy to ingredients in them, so have tried many. This prodct, the Idus Valley Natural Organic Damage Free hair Color, is the best yet! So happy I tried it. No allergic reaction, no itching, beautifu natural brown color, and the shine was the best ever from a hair color. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the "perfect one." This is by far the BEST non peroxide non ammonia permanent hair color I have ever used! I usually do not write reviews but I am now to help other gals out. If your on a tight budget and can't afford salons this is a great alternative. I'm 51 have heavy gray hairs, bought a brush from Sally's and started at roots then took each section and brushed the color through to my ends. Then combed my hair to the ends throughout the processing of 45 minutes. I'm absolutely astonished at the color, my scalp didn't burn or itch like the salon chemical. The color is really pretty!

The description for this product on the Amazon website states that it does not contain any harsh chemicals. It also state that the product contains no peroxide. I bought it based on that information and just used it on my hair. It should be noted that although I bought the light brown color that it turned my hair black. I left it on for the time recommended in the instruction booklet, which was 45 minutes. After seeing how well it dyed my hair I got curious and did a more thorough reading of the ingredients on the bottom of the box. It contains sodium carbonate peroxide. This is a common ingredient in powdered-at- home permanent dyes. I cannot believe that this product advertises itself as no harsh chemicals. I will go back to my semi-permanent dyes, which although wash out within a month, have no ammonia or peroxides.

Not blonde at all, very dark, but great coverage and natural, so I'll keep using it for now.

This is a great product! I watched a youtube lady that recommends this product. There's no problem with this product except that there were custom related issues.

I have been using this product since 2019. It has been great for me with PPD sensitivity. It smells like oranges and is very easy to use. I also brought this to my hairstylist to color my hair, and she loved the gentleness and effective coloring. She found no damage to my hair despite my frequent use of the color. However, after four years of enjoying the product without any allergic symptoms, the reaction returned after the purchase this summer. Not only did the design of the box change, but so did the ingredients. Now they do not have the line "No PPD" on the box. (I wish they could notify us of the BIG change) I have to stop using it in the middle of the treatment because of a burning sensation and itchiness, leaving a very uncomfortable feeling on my scalp with a significant amount of fallen hair. I would have avoided using it if I had known the change. Since I trusted the product, I purchased 4-6 boxes at a time, so I still have 4 unopened boxes, but they are all in the newly designed boxes which I cannot use. I wish I could get the previous version of this hair color. If you have NO PPD allergies, please enjoy the product with its ease of use without any harsh smell. Update 4/29/2025: "NO PPD" has been added back to the box. I would appreciate it if others could share reviews confirming whether this is true. Thank you so much!

This is sifferent from other henna hair dye I've used in that they provide a gel, whereas most is just powder that you mix with water. Well the gel smells amazing, the dye works, it turned by hair black without issue. Despite what some other reviews say, the box I received says "No PPD", so I appreciate the all natural ingredients. The only odd thing was that it made my scalp tingle a lot, there was no redness or irritation afterwards, but if you are sensitive to that sort of thing just be aware.

This is one of very 1st hair color that has not itched my scalp. No nasty smell, hair quality is not compromisedz lasts for a good 3- weeks dependingon how often you wash. Definitely a good buy. Just switched from dark to medium brown

I ordered this product before in different shades and they do not disappoint. The color lasts until the root outgrows and I like that it is free from stuff that I do not want on my scalp. I only use it for root touch ups as my hair grows fast, the kit usually lasts me for approximately 6 uses so for me it is affordable. Yes, you do have to mix the powers into the cream and then apply to dry hair. The leave in time will vary depending on your hair whether it is to cover greys or bleached hair. I only use this product to cover grey hair that matches my own hair color.
