The original battery that came with the camera was not holding a charge I was so happy to have found this replacement battery and it worked great during a month long trip to Europe

Nothing like the original.

I purchased the battery for my Canon PowerShot A2500 digital camera because the old one was no good anymore. and with the new battery I have no problems with taking pictures with my camera.

This reviewer has enjoyed the use of his Canon Elph digital camera for over ten years and is disinclined to replace it just because more recent models have more bells and whistles. Unfortunately, the original battery is showing its age, and won't hold a charge very long. This Canon replacement battery is just the thing to keep that old and familiar camera working fine. Well recommended.

If only they could last for many years, but initially they are very good.

I took the recommendation of a previous review to buy the original battery. Recharges and lasts longer than other inexpensive brands. So far I'm not disappointed.
