Hadn’t refilled my organizer in years cause I didn’t think there were many options for the type of rings. Ended up finding this and have been happy using my organizer again. In a day and age of digital devices, I still prefer to write things down with pen and paper.

These refills are hard to beat. I'm old-school and like to have my daytimer handy. This is a cost-effective refill.

I have used a yearly planner for more than 40 years and still am trying to find just the right one. This is not it. Sigh. I decided to "downsize" from my usual Daytimer one-page-a-day this year because I just wasn't using all the features every day. In looking at all my options, and seeing how I was making lists and notes, I decided to give this a try. I always buy a two page, monthly calendar divider set, and I had bought the simple Newestor option and it is fine. So I decided to give this refill a try. I thought this 2-page for a week was reflecting how I was making a list for each day. It looked like it also came with another 2-page per month calendar and I thought, "oh, I wish I had realized this sooner." Now, that I have this open, I realize it doesn't matter. Yes, it has a 2-page calendar divider to start each month -- but one of the pages is on cardstock and the other page is on regular paper. Hate that. It won't hold up to all the flipping and notes that need to be made on it. Also, I want the start off each of the months cleanly as I take the months out of my binder and store them. It's just too bulky. I only keep the monthly calendars and 2 full months in my binder. I also just want to start each new month fresh. It feels more organized. Newestor has printed on the back and fronts of the calendar divider pages the weekly pages. So almost all the months are not cleanly ended. I hate it. I've end up cutting the tabs off the dividers that came with this set, gluing these dividers together or gluing another page over the calendar page to cover it if I have to split it between months. I still had to decide if I wanted the dates, for instance January 30, 31, February 1, 2 to sit under the January Tab or the February Tab. So, a fair bit of work to adapt a set that I'm giving a try this year.
