Haendler & Natermann H&N Hornet Pellets .25 Cal, 22.07 Grains, Pointed, 150ct (PY-P-1378)

Knocks them out with one shot. Great for thick skinned iguanas. Accuracy is also a winner.

I use these on ground squirrels. Evanix viper .25 These work well. Acurate and good penetration.

This is my preferred hunting round of all the rounds I've tried in my Hatsan BullBoss .25 cal PCP rifle. These things are truly deadly accurate and penetrate deep with excellent expansion. The picture shows the Hornet and the Grizzly side by side before and after it was shot into the spine of a 2 inch thick paperback book from around 15 yards. The Hornet was able to penetrate deeper than the Grizzly, even though the Hornet was almost five grains lighter than the Grizzly. This round is simply devastating on squirrel, rabbit and groundhogs with excellent performance on even larger racoons. The only thing negative about this round is it's price. But when you compare this to rounds like the Predator Polymag, this pellet is superior in every way. Even when shooting the Hornets through quarter inch hardwood I never had one pellet lose the tip (and that's after a few dozen shots sighting in my scope!). The alloy of lead used is also not nearly as soft as the Polymag, which is excellent for penetration on larger game. I shot a 30 lbs racoon with a Polymag, and it knocked him over like a bowling pin, but he got right up and took off running. Took a less than ideal Texas Heart Shot of a similarly sized racoon with the H&N Hornet, and it didn't move an inch!

Was super excited to find a great deal on a couple cases of of these top performing 25 cal brass points... Unfortunately, Amazon ships them in naked tins inside a thin padded paper bag.... That is wholly inadequate packaging to protect a precision lead pellet. It's asinine. Accuracy will be destroyed by bad shipping practices. Amazon have been doing this for years and it's atrocious. If people don't make returns on this stuff then they will keep doing it. Please return your poorly shipped pellets. They should be packaged in 1" of foam minimum.

Received a Benjamin Armada .25 cal as a gift this Christmas- this is the first pellet I sent through it. Fast - hard hitting - pretty impressive pellet.

These pellets are the best. The penetration is crazy coming out of my BullBoss. No other pellet come even come close to this. It's very accurate. A bit on the long side. These WILL fit in the shallow hatsan magaize. But you must put them in properly. Push them in too far and it won't cycle properly. Don't push them in far enough and same thing. You should be able to eyeball it. (For the BullBoss .25 anyway) None of the tips come off. I've ordered several of these. Well over 1000 pellets. Not a single one was missing it's metal tip. Expansion: here the thing. It does expand very well. That being said I'm not a hunter, but I would not use these to hunt small game at high power. It's very likely this will just go through the animal without slowing down. Stage 3 bullet proof vest: I had an old vest laying around. My BullBoss was tuned down and lowish on pressure. But I shot the vest anyway at 25yards. Penetrated most of the layers. Would easily penetrate fully if I had the power up, and full pressure.

I shot these out of an Airforce .25 cal Condor slug air rifle with a DonnieFL moderator @ 3600 psi and all are flying straight and on target with amazing groups. I will buy these again.
