These were replacements for batteries in VTech CS6409 and VTech CS6429 cordless phones. Our phones have been working with the original batteries for 12+ years. However, recently, when on speakerphone for over 15 minutes, the low battery indicator has come on. That's why we ordered these replacements. The new batteries arrived fully charged, fit perfectly and appear to work just fine. Amazon shipped the batteries, with other stuff by USPS mail, in a large brown envelope. The battery carton arrived slightly crushed. Thankfully, the batteries were OK. Update: These "VANBOW" batteries are advertised as 800mAh Ni-MH. Note that some other brands of replacement batteries have a lower rating. We are very satisfied with our purchase of these replacement batteries because, even after some very l-o-n-g telephone calls, our Vtech telephones are indicating that the batteries are still fully charged!

I bought the system probably 8 or so years ago and have not changed the batteries until now. One battery finally died and that unit would not work at all. A second unit developed some problems that I did not associate with the batteries but I decided to replace all the batteries and use the ones that were still functioning. To my surprise replacing the batteries fixed all issues. I now have four good active handheld units.
