No sand, dust, or other particles. The beans are fresh, all formed well and round. They cook wonderfully and are truly organic. We experience no physical issues with bloating and the like from unfavorable organic labeling. Great product.

Cooking beans from scratch helps reduce my sodium intake, and I have more control over the texture. These beans cook to very tender with only 10 minutes at high pressure in the InstantPot with manual release. I used these beans for a cold Hoppin' John-inspired recipe for New Year's Day, and they were a big hit. An 8"x 8" casserole was completely eaten by 4 adults (and there were also corned beef, cabbage, roasted potatoes and a veggie tray on the table.) I will definitely order again.

these are very tasty but after soaking overnight and cooking for over 2 hours they were still tough. They did not get as soft as I like.
