We had to paint the hood of my son's Honda and ordered these 400 grit sanding blocks for some of the prep work. They are thinner than most foam sanding blocks but that really didn't matter at all for our particular use. They held up will to wet sanding and maintained their "grit" throughout. Reasonably priced. I'd order again.

These sanding blocks work well enough but the first thing I noticed when they arrived is how thin they are (meaning the foam inside, as shown in the photo) compared to otherwise similar blocks I have used. To be fair, however, the size is provided on the Amazon listing. They also felt firmer, which might be good in some circumstances but probably not for curved surfaces which is when I normally prefer this type of sander. I compared the performance of this SACKORANGE block to another, thicker brand on some complex curved moulding and confirmed that these SACKORANGE blocks did not conform quite as well to the shape of that moulding. It was not a drastic difference and, in any case, isn’t disqualifying since they will work well on flatter surfaces, although they are also a bit more difficult to hold due to their thinner sides. Since I ordered the 400 grit blocks, I don’t expect them to last very long because finer sandpaper rarely does but they are certainly a reasonable purchase at the right price.

They came packaged in a poly bag and shipped quickly. They are just as pictured, a little slimmer in profile than other sanding blocks I've used, but they do the job and are easily disposable for the price. You'll probably get better quality at your local hardware store, but when in a pinch, these can get to your door quickly.
