This test was worth every penny. It confirmed my 23andme results. I eliminated everything, and my results are immediate. My face is glowing & clear from cystic acne, and my hair is coming in lush. I have more energy and no sickness. I’m throwing away all my allergens. This saves me so much money. I was consuming, and applying products and food that were attacking my immune system. Not anymore. The results correlated with my 23andMe genetic testing, food allergy & intolerance history, and was backed by my family doctor. I’m so much healthier after doing this test. It coincided with my ancestry health tests that said I had a variant for a blood disorder. I had no idea for over 40 years that I had been eating foods that were making me anemic. The 5Strands testing empowered me to take control of my health and customize my diet and nutrition to my body’s needs. I eliminated all of the triggers & ingredients that were make me sick, nauseated, sluggish, and feeling blah. It has aided me in preserving my youth, longevity, and a trim figure. I love this testing so much I included the Deluxe kit in my Fall 2021 Business Communications class presentation on ‘Growing Your Hair Long’. There is only so much testing that insurance companies allow and doctors will do so this really enables us to uncover answers about the way you feel when all your bloodwork is normal but you feel subpar. It is a investment in your present and future that helps you reach optimal health goals. It is worth its weight in gold. I will be purchasing them as gifts for mom and best friend.

I did this for me and my kids and for me personally it has helped a lot to reduce inflammation by cutting out some top inflammatory items from my diet. I haven't figured some of the others out or how to reduce them but this was an eye-opening test and I feel a little better knowing what causes inflammation in my kids too. The next question is accuracy. It was different than another test I did for the similar purpose I.e the results were slightly different. But I like this one a little better because it was more comprehensive. Some things I can't avoid like for example if you have a cat and are intolerant to cat saliva or cat dander. It seems strange to me to have had a cat for so many years and then suddenly this is telling me there's some kind of reaction to it. I would have thought that I noticed by now. Anyway there's just a level of skepticism that I continue to have with this but some things I have noticed do make a positive difference to eliminate from my diet.

I just received my results from the 5Strands Comprehensive Health & Wellness Assessment, and I’m honestly impressed. The whole process was simple and clear from start to finish. Sending in the sample was easy, and the report I received was much more detailed than I expected. What stood out to me most is how easy the information is to understand. The results break everything down in a way that actually makes sense, and I learned things about my food and environmental sensitivities that I never would’ve caught on my own. I feel like I finally have a clearer picture of what my body may be reacting to. If you’re curious about your health or just want more insight into what might be affecting your wellness, this assessment is definitely worth trying.

We ordered these tests for our 83 year old mother with some chronic but moderate health issues looking for some possible insight into causation. I don’t regret the purchase, but the information is overwhelming, sometimes confusing and could be presented more clearly. My suggestions to the company are as follows: 1. Format the results differently. All items tested for should be listed. Then, simply highlight the items that tested for levels 1-3 in different colors. That way, your customers could clearly see what they CAN and maybe should not consume. I had to do this independently for our mother to help her see that there are items she can still eat and drink since looking at the results as presented make one think they are intolerant to basically everything. 2. Define items most people are not familiar with. It takes HOURS upon hours to look up things like. E 239 Hexamthylene-tetramine, Carboxymethylcellulose, or Sodium orthophenylphenate. The majority of items tested for are listed with scientific names and the general population have no idea what those are. It is a simple fix. For instance, under E 123 Amaranth, simple put in parenthesis (Red food coloring #2). 3. Clarify seemingly conflicting results. One example, Alcohol is listed as level three, but beer, gin, red wine (they don’t test for white), tequila, vodka and whiskey are not level 3. I called for clarification, but that didn’t really help. Similarly, shellfish is listed under level 3, but clams, crab, crayfish, lobster, prawns, etc. are not. I find that confusing. We ordered the Deluxe Package and for about $150. It is somewhat interesting, but not something I think we’ll “hang out hat” on. My husband and I have had actual allergy testing done (blood work through our doctor) and found that information more helpful. Keep in mind though those tests are expensive. This is an interesting and reasonably priced option. I do give high marks to the company. They respond to emails quickly and the results arrived in a short time.

The report has a lot of information but it does not provide certain details that I am looking for. However, in general, it provides a good guide.

Fantastic customer service. I sent my sample in the day before the Canada Post strike so it got stuck in the mail. When I reached out by email, I had a response in less than a few hours. They gave me different options to send another sample. The time between when they received my sample and the results, was very quick. The results are also delivered in really nice options. You can download them to Excel as well to organize the data better. Really nice, really thorough.

The product arrived quickly and the results came in quickly. The results are a vital tool for improving diet and maximizing health.

I am soooo glad I got myself tested with this kit. What I uncovered are the missing links in many of my health issues. Well worth the price......my entire family is now being tested.
