Why’d I wait so long to replace original cover?

I have an older Kindle that I like but wanted a new cover as I kept “losing” the kindle with the black cover it came with. I really like this design and especially love the holder and kickstand. Don’t know why I waited so long to replace the standard cover.

Back has poorly translated text

This case is so cute, but the back does say “flowers oh happy good day” which I didn’t love but then thought was too funny I just had to keep it. Also it’s not magnetic when you have it open to keep the back from flapping out which brought this down a star. I do like the kickstand feature though.
