Great toy for young ones
My kiddo loves this Nerf Rebelle Agent Bow Blaster. I purchased this as a Christmas gift last year, and it constantly gets used over and over again. It was very easy to put together right out of the packaging. The red laser light is a red dot sight. The red dot often covers up the target, but I found it to be really accurate when I played around with it showing them what to do. We set up a pillow at the end of the hallway and they do target practice over and over again. I purchased this last Christmas and it has held up very well. Even small children are able to pull the bow back and use it accurately. It reminds me of the nerf bow and arrow that I played with constantly when I was a kid, only this thing will really shoot and arrow fast and far. The tip of the arrows are soft, but they are heavy. They will likely sting a little when you get hit with them, which I am sure will happen over time.

Great Fun for my Daughter
This is an awesome set for young girls. I also got an extra pack of arrows (3 pack) to supplement the three included arrows. The arrows whistle when shot and are blunt tipped hollow rubber. The feel of the bow is quite good for what it is. The size is fine for a 5-12 year old. My 5 year old daughter loves playing with this, and she is kind of like a Merida from Brave, more so than a Katniss Everdeen. She always had a thing for bow and arrows and this satisfies her curiosity. We go to the park and shoot the arrows up in the air, at trees, and have a great time. Inside the house, we knock dolls off her doll house. Father and daughter mischief. Surprisingly, she can shoot this thing about 30 to 40 feet. She still has to work on her accuracy as she consistently shoots to the left. She learned to not point blank shoot nor shoot at people. It is inexpensive and fun, but during the Holidays almost tripled in price. For $19 it is a great introduction to bow and arrows.

This is what I have been missing.
Put simply, the Nerf Rebelle Agent Bow is the first Nerf product in a long time that achieves my primary goals: it looks great, and hits just hard enough to make my little brother upset. You see, other blasters just don't shoot hard enough. I've owned several dart-blasters and, when it comes down to it, my target (my little brother) will generally ignore even direct hits. Those little darts are just too minuscule while the springs are just too weak. When I fire a Nerf dart at my brother, what can I expect? I'll tell you; I can expect him not to care in the slightest. Then I'll ask myself, "What is the point of even shooting a Nerf dart at my brother in the first place if he just ignores the darts like Superman ignores bullets?" Then I'll find myself filled with regret, questioning my place in the universe; do my actions have any purpose? The Nerf Agent Rebelle Bow, however, has a design that is nothing less than brilliant. Built into the bow are several safeties: (1) its arrows are short, limiting how far they can be drawn, (2) the arrows are tipped with a hollow rubber bulb, to soften the impact, (3) the bowstring itself has a moderate draw strength, again limiting how fast the arrows fly. With all of these measures built in, safety was clearly a heavy consideration when Hasbro designed this bow. That being said, this thing shoots an arrow harder than any dart blaster I've got. It's not enough to bruise, or even really sting; but it will definitely hit hard enough to fill a person with shame. And fury. At least, that's what I imagined my brother felt when I shot one of these rubber arrows smack dab in the center of his forehead. His reaction was not one of pain, but of rage - he promptly punched me in my eye. After so many years, I finally achieved the reaction I had hoped so long for. And even now, as I hold this bag of ice over my eye, my soul resonates - with purpose.

My daughter loves this bow and arrow. It works wells and is fairly sturdy. My only complaint was that the string on the first bow we purchased as a Christmas gift for our daughter broke after about 3 months and there was no way to simply replace it. I tried to unscrew the ends which holds the string, but it was impossible to pry it open without breaking the plastic fasteners. You had to purchase an entirely new bow and arrow set. We tied it back together and taped the ends, but it doesn't work as well. Otherwise, for a $20 toy, and the fact that my daughter uses it almost everyday, it was well worth the purchase.

TOTAL FLIMSY POS - RUN AWAY
This "thing" is an ABSOLUTE POS. My daughter (7 years old) was able to play with it for about 30 minutes (normal use) before it stopped functioning correctly. I took a look at it and figured out that the arrow shafts are so thin that they will bend under the force of the bow being released. When the arrow shafts bend, they hit the sides of the firing channel (the channel is meant to assist children in loading and firing it at the right angle). No amount of bending the arrows back helps. The arrow shafts are so thin and flimsy that they buckle under the bows own firing force. The toy looks very fun for a young child but it's just made so poorly and is a total POS. If you want a bow and arrow toy for your child, I would suggest the Zing Air Huntress as a great alternative. It is very strong and will last even under heavy use and will shoot long distances. We own both.

Safe and lots of Fun
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter, but my 3 year old daughter and my 7 year old son love it just as much! It is a great toy. The arrows make a sound when you shoot them. There's also a decoder and code that they have fun playing with. Since they've shot real bows before, I was worried they would think this too "fake." However, it is made more like a real bow than others I've seen in that you can make the arrows fly far which is great. The bowstring can be pulled back so it feels like a real bow, but not enough that anyone could get hurt. I've been accidentally hit by the arrows and the rubber in front made it practically painless. A great present.

awesome for kids
Everyone in the house will want! U need the glasses to read the codes. I bought as a birthday gift for my nephew who is 5 and it was disappointing that the glasses only come in pink but he wears them cuz he wants to see the codes. It shoots far. And even with the soft tips will sting if hit. The range is big for small kids. But nerf quality is still there. It is kinda pricey $36 for the bow and 3 arrows, the glasses, & 3 extra arrows-which I recommend getting extra, 3 is such a wimpy number when they go on their happy new toy dance & have to stop every 2 seconds to gather their ammo. But now my niece wants one too to play with him. The colors r soft for either gender to enjoy. And I just love that being many states away from them I can be a small part in their fun. Assembly is a pain tho, my sister and brother in law r a little mad about it. Wish I could order already put together.... I guess I'm gonna be buying another set for my niece. Thank u for helping me get the 'win' gift of the party!!! Now if only there were a strap on arrow thing to hold the arrows while they play.

Amazing but, needs more Arrows
I love this bow. My younger brother has many NERF guns and during our winter break I picked up the power pair. I loved the power pair and continued buying NERF Rebelle guns. The agent bow is my most powerful gun and shoots to about 75-80 feet. The one major problem I have had is that the arrows bend easily and make it hard to shoot, seeing that there are only three arrows you, end up buy refill packs and spending more money then needed; well played NERF :) ! The arrows shoot far and high and when one got stuck on the roof of my house, we just prayed for rain and when rain didn't come, well just another reason to buy more refill packs.
