I have short hair and this was the perfect size which is hard to find. I recived the curling iron and returned it the same day. The 'grip' on your hair is very poor, your hair comes out of the iron as you attempt to roll and heat. very poor design for short hair. maybe if you have extra thick hair it might work for you but the iron does not get hot enough even on the 420 setting. i DID WANT TO MENTION, THE SELLER IS VERY PLEASANT AND EASY TO WORK WITH. I WOULD DEFINITLY PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN
