These shock absorbers do absorb some of the vibration transmitted to your hand during shots, slightly improving comfort. However, they seem somewhat unreliable in use, accidentally falling off several times after powerful shots or running, requiring me to search for them all over the court and disrupting my practice. If you don't mind occasionally stopping to pick them up, or are willing to reinforce them yourself (such as with a small piece of tape), they might provide basic shock absorption. But if you're expecting a stable and reliable solution, you might want to reconsider.
