Wolfard 9 Inch Original Oil Lamp

Beautiful. Just how I expected it to be and then some.

These oil lamps are superb. They are very durable, can be washed in the dishwasher, and the best part is that they are safe - with the deeply recessed oil well, there are no exposed flames to catch your curtains or other items on fire. If the wick is adjusted correctly (pulled down just a tad below the lip of the wick holder), they do not smoke. If, however, you pull it down too low, your flame will be small and won't give out the desired light.

I bought a set of 3 to use during power outages (which happen frequently at the beach in Los Angeles for some reason). Candles weren't cutting it as they would drown in their own tallow, but these lamps burn long and clean and give ample light.

Beautifully crafted and extremely functional, the wolford oil lanterns will provide countless hours of subtle light and ambience. I have used these handcrafted lanterns for everything from real estate closing gifts to birthday presents. I'm a fan!!!!!

I ordered a 9 inch lamp and also gave a 12 inch lamp for a Christmas gift. The workmanship was good and the lamp works perfectly and burns for hours with little wick adjustment required once you get it set correctly.

This oil lamp is a very original design, elegant and attractive. The openings in the bottom produce an upward air flow that helps to produce a very stable flame. But beware. It has a relatively small footprint. The first one I purchased died of a tipover, so I bought a second one, and have placed it on a stable base. I recommend this item.

You must buy a separate gallon of some type of gas. It runs out super fast the little bit you can pour in which is a struggle to do so without a cone to prevent from miss spilling it in the right narrow hole. $95.00 was about how much I spent for 1. This was a very dissaponting purchase. I definitely don't recommend it.

Great product that is esthetically beautiful and worth the price.
