Installation was involved, but adheres like a champ!
ONE YEAR LATER EDIT: Uh, this thing is outrageously good. Not only have the edges not peeled, but when I've accidentally peeled them they adhere right back. One year later, after heavy abrasion after sitting in my pocket with direct contact with my, well, pocket in my manufacturing job the protector adheres like DAY ONE. Not kidding. Not only that but my screen responds as if there was nothing there even a year later. Top marks! Installing this screen is more involved than your usual screen protector, but is worth the investment of time. I advise a few things: Wash your hands very well, consider showering so absolutely no debris or flakes get on the screen after you clean it. Instructions say to spray your fingertips but it's not emphasized enough. Be sure to do this to both hands! Make sure that when you wipe it down you do so at least twice: once against a wallpaper that is light in tone, and again after the device is off. Make sure your screen is pristine and your surroundings are not dusty. Someone mentioned using saran wrap to hold your edges on your phone down, and it works far better than holding it with your hands. Also, expect to screw up your first application even if you follow all above directions. Make sure you put the spritz bottle on a flat surface. The bottle is very thin and topples over easily. I gave it a 4/5 for ease of install because it is not easy, but you are given a plethora of resources to land the installation solidly. A warning to anyone that watches the installation video and hates large fake fingernails... it features a person with skin-raking nails. You've been warned. For affectionados of said nails? Enjoy. All the shenanigans aside, the thing holds onto my screen well so far and my screen is very responsive to my touch.

PASS ON THE OTHER BRANDS!!! GET THIS ONE!!! IT WORKS WITH MY OTTERBOX, TOO!!!
First off, let me just say that I'm about the worst person on the planet for putting these things on! And I always (ALWAYS) end up with bubbles and/or dust underneath! I have to say - that did NOT happen here! The package included an insert instructing me to go to the website to watch an installation video. I watched it. I cleaned my table and got everything laid out and ready to go. I washed my hands and then watched the video again. I followed the instructions and this was about the easiest install I've ever done! I've never done a wet application before and I must say it's MUCH easier than the dry method! Once I did it, I left it sit while I had dinner (about 20 minutes) and then came back like it said to push the edges down (Galaxy S9+). I kept pressing on the rounded edges and once it seemed good, I left it alone - all night. I did notice two small air bubbles, but you could only see them when the screen was off. The following day, I put my Otterbox Commuter case back on with no trouble and the two small air bubbles have now disappeared - just like the instructions said they would! It took about 2 days - just like they said... This has never happened to me! I've never gotten one of these on right - by myself - the first time! This came with two protectors so now I have an extra in case this one gets scratched-up or starts yellowing. My only - ONLY - complaint is I wish the soapy solution they give you was a little bigger. Or maybe they could provide two - one for each protector. I still have some left, but it won't be enough if I need to install the second protector or if I give it to a friend. If you're looking for a protector to keep your phone from getting scratches - if you're not worried about getting a glass protector - then this is the one to get! I went through about 3 other brands that were crap and wouldn't stay down - they were all dry install. One of those even came with four protectors! Not a single one worked! This one - the IQ Shield - was / is awesome! Looks-wise, you can't even tell it's there! Sensitivity is fine - no problems there. But you CAN feel it. If you tried to run your nail across it, it would kind of dig in... It's got kind of a rubbery feel to it - it's hard to explain. But I have no problems at all using my phone, tapping on things, etc. I highly recommend this brand!

TPU film isn't for me. I'm going back to PET.
Install was easy, it protects as advertised, it feels nice and slick. It isn't durable enough for me or my wife. In the 2 months they've been on mine has developed 8 holes and some wrinkles. Mostly the phone is in my pocket or the phone holder on my SUV. Rarely are there other objects in the same pocket.

IQ Shield Screensaver is the BEST!
Love IQ screen protectors! This one is no different! Installation was simple, allow suggested curing time (preferably overnight, and I have had ZERO peeling or issues of the protector coming off the device. Zero air bubbles, aligns easily, Fits screen, zero glare, and my most desired feature is the thumb print function works perfectly! Fits as it should and works well even with the curved edges of my S23. Highly recommend!

Almost Perfect - mistake free installation.
I wasn't sure if this screen protector would work on my phone as the curved edges are notoriously hard to cover, but I'm blown away with ease of installation and the final result. It's nearly perfect, not a single bubble and the whole process took less than 5 min (not including the overnight drying). I can barely tell that there is a screen protector on my phone. It's clear, shiny and it covered the screen from end to end, even the curved areas. Amazing! I did watch the how-to install YouTube video as suggested in the package and it helped me with determining how much liquid is enough for this process. This was my first "wet" installation so needless to say I wasn't sure how to or what to expect from this process. This is how I did it in steps: I did this process at night right before I went to bed to allow the screen protector to fully dry overnight as suggested by the seller. I cleaned a desk surface to remove any dust and/or hair and lint, removed the phone case and my old screen protector. I washed and dried my hands and then I sprayed some of the liquid on my fingertips to remove any possible residue and lint/hair (as suggested in the installation video). Then I used the cloth and sprayed some liquid on it and cleaned the phone screen until it was shiny and lint free. Then I peeled off the backing from the screen protector and held it up vertically with my fingers while spraying it with the liquid. I made sure that the protector is completely soaked with liquid. I held it up until the dripping stopped (and to not get any excess on the phone speaker and other openings) and then just gently laid it on the phone screen. At this point the screen protector was completely flat and bubble free. I gently moved it around (without stretching, just a very gentle push) until it was perfectly aligned with the edges, camera and speaker openings. At this point the protector wasn't sticking to the curved edges, but as instructed I waited a few minutes and then gently pressed it with my fingers until it started to adhere to the edges. Once everything looked good to me, I used the squigee that was included in the package and just gently made a few flat moves across the screen and again over the edges from the middle out to make sure all the liquid is pushed out. Once I was sure that there was no "lifting" on the corners and edges, I laid it flat on my desk and went to bed. I was extremely happy to see the final result this morning. Just perfect. No bubbles, no lifting, no rainbow screen effect, no glare, not dimming, and fully covered curved edges. I popped my case back on it and it still fits perfect. For a reference I have Spigen Tough Armor case on my phone and this screen protector is compatible with it. I definitely recommend this screen protector.

Will peel at the edges!
The only reason I bought this was because of the high ratings. My experience with this screen protector was ok. The installation process was simple, but time consuming. It suggests to apply the screen protector at night to give the adhesive time to stick, ok. It also states not to install a case until after 6 hours have gone by to make sure the screen protector doesn't peel. I followed the instructions and successfully installed the screen protector. I had about 3 air bubbles left, but the instructions stated this is normal and will disappear as the screen protector dries up, wrong! The next day those air bubbles are still there, and its almost impossible to push them out because of the texture of the screen protector. The screen protector itself is soft to the touch, it feels sort of gummy. You can sink your nail into it and it will leave a mark. So if you try to use the squeegee to push the air out you might end up damaging the protector. Even though I applied the screen protector successfully, the edges are already peeling. I spent so much time holding the edges down during installation but they slowly peel back after the screen protector has dried up. The peeling of the edges causes lint from your pockets to get in there and the adhesive dries up and because useless, which leads to more peeling. One of the corners is already peeling as well, and I've been very careful with it. To be quite honest, this screen protector might last about 3-4 weeks at the rate thats its peeling. No matter how careful you are, the edges start to peel. And this problem goes for most s8 screen protectors. Why? because of the curved edges. I won't be buying any more screen protectors. After I use the second screen protector and after it peels off, I will just use a case. Also, this is advertised as case friendly....Um, I would say it sorta is. The screen protector doesn't reach all of the edge, which is why it works with the case I have. BUT, because the screen protector doesn't reach all the way to the edge, when you use the edge app by sliding your finger towards the screen, you can feel your finger run over the screen protector, which feels like over time will peel off....

GREAT Product! Would buy again.
First thing's first... I am not a giant fan of film screen protectors. I LOVE tempered glass protectors. But as everyone (and his brother) has already pointed out, they simply have not perfected a tempered glass screen protector yet for this phone โ or any of the phones with infinity/edge screens. I really hope they do (and one that can work with a case). With that out of the way, I have to say this protector is utterly amazing (for a film protector). I have been using screen protectors for years: wet application, dry application, tempered โ everything. All sorts of brands... and I laughed when I had read this one "self-heals" scratches and that any bubbles from the application process just "disappear" on their own. But I got this one anyway, since I'm pretty sure it was the same one I got for my Note 7 (and remember being reasonably happy with before I had to send the entire phone back... grrrr). So, I took off the tempered glass (Zagg-like) protector that I ***hated*** on the phone for the week I had it and put this one on when it came in the mail. I've done the wet application process before, which feels messy but really isn't all that bad, and yet somehow I did the worst job on this one that I've ever done before, despite doing the whole squeegeeing thing and everything. There were bubbles everywhere. I'm not sure how I did so badly with it, but I decided to test out their claim that the bubbles go away "magically". I waited the 12 hours (it was probably more like 10) before fuddling with the phone again... and by then the bubbles were more prominent than ever (because now the screen was dry). It looked AWFUL... but they said wait a couple of days and so I did. Later that first day (about 20 hours or so after putting it on), it seemed like the bubbles might be getting smaller, but I couldn't tell if I was fooling myself. The next day, they were definitely smaller, but not all the way gone. By the third day, they were all gone except for one or two teeny little ones, and by the fourth day even those were gone. I have to admit that I was IMPRESSED. I honestly didn't expect it to work that way. A day or two later I noticed a bunch of scratches on the film (probably from it's pocket ride). These were very light, feathery scratches (not deep gouges or anything), but I was still bummed about it getting scratched up so fast. They weren't horribly noticeable, but I notice these things, and it bugs me. In the back of my mind, I remembered the "self-healing" thing that I'd read about this protector and I was kind of hoping that was true, but the skeptic in me knew the scratches would be permanent. I woke up the next morning, and I actually looked for them .... And COULD NOT BELIEVE it when they were gone. "Well I'll be damned" was all I could say. I have to admit that this screen protector is pretty amazing... As an aside, the protector really is "case friendly". I have had three different cases on with it (2 generics and a Caseology), and none have had any problem. I only really have two gripes about this protector and they are so MINOR that for most people it probably isn't even a consideration. 1) There's a sort of squiggle pattern to the film. To be honest, it seems to have (at least to my eye) no effect on the display at all, when the display is on. The only time you see it is when light is reflected off the display (usually when the display is off or dimmed in the "always on" mode). I kind of wish it didn't have that, only because then it's obvious that there's a screen protector on the device. One of the reasons why I love the tempered glass protectors more is that, when they are done right, it feels and looks like there's nothing there. But short of a tempered glass screen protector, I don't think there is much that IQ can do about that. (as a quick aside, when the bubbles were still there, the bubbles themselves DID have some distortion โ rainbowing pixels etc โ but as soon as the bubbles went away, so did the distortion). 2) Because it is "case friendly", the protector doesn't quite go to the edge. I'm not sure the measurement (is it a couple/three millimeters from the edge???), but it stops just short of going all the way. This is, of course, so a case that you put on the S8+ doesn't interfere with the protector. I've had all sorts of problems with this in the past, and this does do a nice job of *not* interfering (as I mentioned above). But the drawback is that again, it's kind of obvious there's a screen protector there. Again, I have no idea how you reconcile the two. Either you get a case that doesn't go to the lip of the screen or you get a protector that doesn't. Anyway, if you don't plan to use a case, then you may want to look for a non-"case friendly" protector that would go to the edge of the display. If you plan to use a case, then this is a good choice. Anyway, as I said, these are pretty minor and anybody with experience with screen protectors is probably already familiar with these anyway. I would DEFINITELY buy this again... at least until I hear of some perfected tempered glass protector that comes out.

Unusable
I have applied a screen protector on every hand-held electronic device I've owned and never once struggled with air bubbles. I've never once had to use more than one protector during application. Until now. I bought this screen protector because it claimed that it had anti-scratch self-healing protection. My previous screen protector was suffering from some minor blemishes and I wanted a clean look that would last. These not only have to be applied with a liquid solution (micellar water) that creates an absolute ton of air bubbles, but the material is rubbery and stretches when any kind of pressure is put on it. This comes with a rubber squeegee to pull the liquid from one side of the protector to the other. - Attempt 1 - I attempted to apply the first protector, which immediately stuck to my phone in an awkward position because not enough liquid was applied (it sprays on...). My phone was very clean, so the screen was hydrophobic and would not allow the liquid to pool when sprayed. It instead created a bunch of small water droplets all over the screen. There was no way to salvage the protector at this point as the adhesive had been ruined. - Attempt 2 - I tried again with a second protector, but this time poured a large concentration of the liquid into the center of the phone screen. I then held the protector above the phone so that it would make contact with the liquid center first and then pull the liquid along the surface. This seemed to work well except for a few tiny air bubbles at the bottom of the screen where there wasn't enough solution. Mostly a success... or so I thought. I took the squeegee and attempted to pull the solution toward the bottom of the screen, removing the air bubbles in the process. The squeegee is rubber and the protector is also rubbery, so there was a lot of resistance. I managed to get all but one air bubble out, and while I was sliding the squeegee across the top of the screen, it caught the protector in such a way that it gripped the surface and actually stretched the area it was touching, creating permanent large bubbles where the protector could no longer make contact with the phone screen. - Attempt 3 - My last screen protector. I repeated my steps with attempt #2, but this time I used all of the remaining liquid in hopes that the air bubbles wouldn't be created this time and I wouldn't have to use the squeegee except to remove excess moisture. It seemed to work ok. The screen protector was positioned properly on my phone, and it looked like this time it was going to work. Then it came time to dry... Per Step 7 of the instructions included in this package, "Use your palms to hold down the edges for a few minutes at a time. If the edges still do not stick, wait a few more minutes and try again." ...what? Step 8 - "Allow a few hours for the protector to set and cure completely." At any point within a few hours, this screen protector may begin to peel away from the phone and has to be pressed back into place or else it won't stick properly. The screen is curved. How was this ever supposed to work? This protector did not work for me. If you think you can manage it, it's a rather cheap experiment and a self-healing screen protector sounds great. After all, I may just not understand something fundamental in applying these. Some other reviewers have had great success with it. I won't be asking for a refund for that reason. Regardless, I won't be buying this again.

Moisture in phone due to the solution
The product is good, however....when I was applying the screen protector the solution got into the charging port. They suggested you apply the screen protector before bedtime since it needs time to adhere. I applied it at the end of the day, when my phone was ready for a charge. When I put my phone on charge, I got an error message saying it had detected moisture and could not charge me phone. When you squeegee out the solution, it drips down and must have gotten into the charging port. I have a S9 and assumed it's waterproof....I guess not. It took me a while to get my phone to charge, again. Definitely created a lot of panic. I contacted the seller to tell them about what happened just to keep them informed. I got a reply back, asking if I would like a replacement product?????

Truly easy to apply and excellent bond to curves
This screen protector is the best buy for a film curved screen protector. It is truly easy to apply and makes and excellent bond to curves on the edges of my Galaxy S8. Because it remains slideable when first wetted it can be positioned perfectly to fit the openings of the phone. You probably have about 5 mins before it starts bonding to the screen. I watched the instructuon video twice and then applied it with minimal problems. There is a small but unnoticeable bump on the film but the edges stuck on very well. I ran my wet hand back and forth the two sides of the curved phone to ensure that it stuck well. I left the phone off for about 10 hours and did not put the case back for 13 hours. FYI, the case is a UAG one-piece case. I have had the screen protector since May 10 and so far it has been perfect. I also find the touch sensitivity to be better than either of the two different brands of ballistic glass protectors I had on this same phone (both of which fell off). Highly recommended!

Finally, a Quadlock compatible "case friendly" screen protector!
Very good fit inside of my Quadlock (motorcycle mount) case & it has held together great around all of the edges after several weeks of use. This is the reduced screen coverage that a "case friendly" screen protector is supposed to have.

Not case friendly. Peals off at bottom
The product was supposed to be case friendly but itโs not! The bottom part of the protector peals off as it touches the case (I use speigen). Disappointed, because I researched a lot and found this MENTIONED to be the best screen protector for galaxy s8. Also the seller Exborders is least bothered to help with any info on fixing it

Full of bubbles
I cannot recommend this product. I installed the screen protector on my phone and it was full of bubbles that would not be squeegeed out! I tried a second screen protector but had the same result. I tried using a slightly harder item to squeegee the bubbles out and some of them came out but it left scratches on the screen protector. Terrible - will have to buy something else.
