I’ve been wanting this specific hair tool set forever now but just couldn’t justify the high price. That was until my hair straightener broke and I needed a new one. I finally decided to treat myself for the first time in years. This brand is well known for its excellent quality hair tools, although on the expensive side. Bought the 1 inch titanium hair straightener with the extra long barrel 1 inch curling iron. I even purchased the Babyliss blow dryer. All in all, it was around a $300 investment. Was hoping to get many years of use out of them. I’ve been using this set not even 2 weeks now and I just noticed the side plate on the hair straightener is already rusted?!? I’m super bummed out! I spent a small fortune on these hair tools and this should not look like this! I’ve been putting it away carefully and no water has touched the plates. Which can only mean that it was there to begin with and I just didn’t notice it. It’s hard to see unless under a bright light. I don’t know the return policy but the curling iron has no signs of rust on it and works great! But now I’m worried about using the hair straightener and my hair getting rust on it. It didn’t look used and the box was closed and packaged well. Maybe it’s just a defective one seeing as it’s only one plate that has rust on it? Very strange.

After about 5 months, the straightener did not work. I tried all the ways to get it to work. I contacted the company and he told me to prove that it did not work by cutting it. After that, he sent me a new one. Thanks to BabyLiss Company for their good treatment.

My friend recommended I should get this straightener because I have really thin hair that doesn’t stay straight after I have straightened it. I did one pass on my hair with this one and it was life changing! I definitely recommend getting the straightener and curler bundle because I believe it’s the same price for just one.

I have had this flat iron for 9 months, and it stopped working. I use only quality hair products on my hair. I have had other Babyliss products, and they lasted for several years. Both the curling iron and the flat iton do not seem to be the normal Babyliss quality. For $199, it should last longer. Disappointed.
