Bledie Lekker® Biltong Droewors Bundle (8oz + 8oz) real South African style

Best droewors I’ve found so far this side of the world. Highly recommended.

I really like jerky, and while Biltong is different from jerky it's also similar enough. This is really good, it doesn't taste very salty which is nice. It has a good flavor overall, and it's something I have to make myself stop eating, otherwise I can eat the whole bag without thinking to much of it. The Droewors are good, more sausage like, cuz that's what it is. They have a snap to them, I think cuz they use lamb casings. Flavor is great, the only thing I don't really like about them, they have more fat and leave a greasy feel in my mouth after I eat it. I've never had either before, so I can't say how authentic it is compared to what you would get in Africa, but I think both are good. I'll buy more of the Biltong, the Droewors I'll still keep buying not as often however. Given how much jerky is this is a bit more money, but it's also less mass made. So I understand why it's priced as it is. But I find it to be a good value for the money quality wise and flavor wise.

Ooh, this is good. Not too heavily spiced, nice balance. Just enough fat, and a mild vinegar tang.

We love the flavor but it contains nitrates, so we might have to find another brand with healthier ingredients.

I love biltong! In fact, I love Bledie Lekker Biltong! It's one of my favorite snacks to eat. I thought I'd give their Droëwors a shot, as I love their biltong. I was under the impression that it was just sticks of the biltong in a sausage skin, which I guess was my bad; maybe I should've read the ingredients before ordering...well, it's not just beef in the Droëwors, there is lamb as well. Don't get me wrong, I love a great leg of lamb, or a nice, rare, seared lambchop...but the gaminess (*gamey-ness? not sure how to spell that one!) of lamb, in my opinion, does not go well in a jerky form. It gave the Droëwors a very strong aftertaste that I found to be NASTY. So, if you like Bledie Lekker biltong like I do, you may be wise to order a smaller package of the Droëwors, so you can sample them before buying a big bag like this. Oh well, they can't all be winners...

My favorite and tastes just like back home. Tried other brands and they were awful. I stick with this and love it. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but I ration myself and no-one else in the house is allowed to eat it!

Taste good but sure is a hell of a lot to pay for so little

I was very disappointed with my order the price was high and the biltong was not very tasty nor was the dry worse.
