Does this item have an automatic shut off

Mine (the stainless steel with "No Alert" option) shuts off automatically. I've noticed that it will cut back on if left alone for several minutes, though. I guess the water drips back down from the dome and the sensor thinks it's time to cook again. Since that happened, I try to flip the switch off right after they're done.

Does it come with a tray for scrambling eggs?

In a bowl, we scramble 2 eggs, put in a little cheese, maybe some fried bacon bits and seared onions and peppers and pour it in the omelet tray. It puffs up and is tasty. We also make "McMuffins" using sandwich ham or sausage in Bay (brand) muffins. A third thing we like is breaking two eggs in the omelet tray and cooking them until firm for a more traditional "McMuffin." We love this little cooker and use it often!

Did anyone ever find out if the plastic is BPA-free?

Most manufacturers have moved away from BPA because of the bad press. However, ALL plastic is made from toxic chemicals. You should never cook with plastic of any kind. If you buy eggs from pasture-raised, organic chickens, you don't have to worry about hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, etc. Plus, the eggs will be much more nutritious.

Boiled the eggs perfectly

Excellent quality! It boiled the eggs perfectly in less than 5 minutes and shuts off by itself! I walked away came back 5 minutes later, no fuss! I couldn't believe it! When I peeled the eggs, shells came off instantly and a perfectly hard boiled egg! This little machine is like magic! Easy clean up and put away! Love it!!! I am going to buy one for my best friend, for my daughter and for my neighbor as gifts! Great price for the convenience!

Eu gosto de ovo com gema mais dura, então 10min e tá pronto. Apesar de o copo medidor ter uma pontinha para furar a casca do ovo, eu aconselho não fazer isso, vai fazer meleca. Eu não furo, e na maior parte das vezes, o ovo não racha e sai tudo blz.
