This is an amazing little bread slicer. It works very well. The blade is sharp and easy to rotate. It cuts the bread without smooshing it. The suction cups stick very well to the counter without moving it all while I was using it. I’m very happy with this purchase and I think you will be too. It’s not a very large product so it can be stored on the counter simply and I think it was a great value for the cost.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well this slicer works. It’s small enough for easy storage and cuts my bread perfectly. No more lopsided, messy bread slices for me.

I've never been good at slicing homemade bread. I'd struggle with knives that weren't sharp enough and couldn't get thin, even slices. I made two loaves of bread to test this slicer out and it worked amazingly. Gave me perfectly uniform slices that we used for sandwiches and French toast the next morning. It's smaller than I thought it would be so I didn't need to find somewhere to store it and the suction cups held it in place well on my counter. Super easy to use as well.

I have searched for a bread slicer for my bread for years. I have found some good products, but nothing that really works on artesian bread. Sandwich bread, I've found several options. Hard crusted boules? Nothing. This cuts through them like butter. Thin slices for sandwiches, thick for toast. Whatever you want, without any extensive sawing. Downside? The suction cups to hold it to the counter don't work. Plan on getting clamps to hold it in place. Other than the failure of the suction cups, I'd give it a five.

Works as it should. Much better than using a knife. Uniform slices.

If you have a second person to hold it and keep it from slipping on the counter, and if you can raise it up on a second cutting board, it works fine. There is a bolt underneath that is too long, and the suction cups do not hold it in place, so it left a long scratch on our marble countertops. Hoping we just got a lemon.

We purchased this for slicing of the bread that my wife bakes (several loaves each week) because using a bread knife wasn't doing a good enough job. This manual bread slicer with a hand crank works very well and allows us to cut bread slices of consistent thickness every time. This is a great design; well thought out. Be very careful with the blade, however, because it is extremely sharp and could easily slice through a finger or hand. Watch the videos on how to operate this slicer before you attempt to use it. Learn where you need to position your body, your hands, and the bread loaf before you operate this or you may inadvertently injure yourself. I am not kidding; the blade is very sharp.

GAME CHANGER! I was skeptical about this slicer but took a chance cause I could always return it. I didn’t enjoy cutting my sourdough so wanted to give this a try. Love it! Very easy and makes my sourdough bread slices even and perfect!

Great device for the home baker. Does a fantastic job of slicing bread whether it is standard bread or sour dough. Fast and easy.

The slicer is really good, slices through sourdough like butter. The only thing I didnt like is that when u cut the crumbs get everywhere and under the suction cups so it slips. Other than that its really good.

Bought for a gift for my bread making-daughter. She LOVES it. It's one of those devices in your life that just bring joy to use. Cuts her sourdough well, even if it's very very soft. Banana bread and any other sliceable loaf works well. Have not sued it for cheese or meat though. She absolutely confesses to making bread just so she can use it.

Les ventouses ne sont pas de bonnes qualités, elle n'adhèrent pas sur ma plaque de cuisinière qui est bien lisse, au 3e pain la lame ne voulait plus couper la croûte du pain au levain, si vous remarquez bien sur le vidéo la planche bouge malgré que les ventouses et la surface ont été nettoyées et humidifiées pour aider a coller (elles se sont remplis de farine par après tellement elle se deplacait en coupant les tranches et la farine de riz qui recouvre le pain tombe sous la plaque, si les ventouses colleraient bien la farine ne dérangerait aucunement) c'est de valeur car j'aimais vraiment la conception avec le petit "garde tranche" et fesait de belles tranches eguales
