You won't go wrong with this knife
A very well made knife and razor sharp. They will last for a long time but order a few extras they make great gifts. Great service delivery was ahead of time, I would buy this again.

Best value
This knife is exceptional for the price. It is razor sharp and the handle is one of the best I've ever felt in my hand. I wear a XL glove and have zero complaints about this knife. I will be buying a few more!

Grandson loves it.
A nice small carbon blade. Perfect for a young person's first fixed blade knife. Very nice hold for a friction sheath.

Works like a charm so far
Works like a charm so far. I anticipate heavy abuse for this knife in construction but don't that that will be an issue. was slightly more than i though it was worth, but it is holding up so far.

Buy it if you like a Mora!
This knife is like a mora 511 with a 100% better grip. It's sharp as or possibly sharper than a mora. Mine is a scandi grind with a micro bevel. The blade is about the same size as a 511. If I had to chose between this and the 511 I would pay a few more dollars for this hultafors knife. It's worth it for the grip. If you can't decide buy both of them and you will still be near the $20 mark. I mean I have more than a few Mora knives and this Hultafors is only my second one , but I will be buying more. If you like Moras you will like this and other Hultafors. Edit: this grip is one of the best feeling grips that I've held and I've got over 200 knives so that's saying something. If hultafors would shorten the grip a little on the HD model and use this enhanced grip I might be selling off some moras!! New info 2/7/15 OK hultafors come back down off your high horse ! I just got the new Mora pro series knives and they are cheaper than this and the handles are almost just as good as this one. Keep the price around the $10 dollar mark and these will still be a good deal. $17 is too much considering that you can get a Mora for that or less. These are great knives like I said before but not so great past the $10 mark. Raising the price with the only justification being reviews makes people like me that's a knife addict to buy something else.

Out of stock?
I ordered this knife, it was in stock, but after 10 days and no movement on the order, I cancelled it. A few days later I initiated another order (it showed "In stock"). Again, after 10 days it still had not shipped. Apparently, they are not anxious to sell this item. A shame, since I have always liked the quality of Hultafors knives. Very disappointed!

Really nice bushcraft knife. Sheath is garbage.
The knife/blade itself is very good for this price point. The carbon steel appears to be of good quality and perhaps better than my standard Morakniv Knives. I assume it is a close match. I do honestly like the handle with grip better than most of my Moraknivs though. I will update this review if it fails me prematurely. My big gripe is the sheath. It is useless. The belt opening is less than 1/8" for the belt width and its design seems poor compared to the commonly ridiculed Morakniv sheaths. For less than $15, this is still a great product. But I'll be buying another Morakniv the next time I need to order a bushcraft type knife. This knife does semi fit in a Morakniv sheath, which is how I'll be carrying it. Picture attached with the Hultafors in my old Mora sheath.

Massiccio .. ECONOMICO coltello".. e poi così vedere come reagisce all'affilatura ..e (promette grandi cose). Ciao a tutti :) P.S.

Nice knife, bought for camping/sailing dingy, 3 3/4" [93mm] blade length, 3/4" [20mm] wide, 1/8" [2mm] thick, has carbon steel printed on the blade so better to take and keep an edge though would rust if you didnt oil it, very sharp when arrived, blade seems to be fused into rubber handle with hi-vis orange nylon-plastic end caps, front one at quillion nr blade gives good secure feel and would prevent your fingers slipping down the blade, a good guard feature. Cant say if the knife blade is of the full tang type but there is no flexing over the 4 1/2" grip so would assume! the blade is set very deep and secure i`m happy with that aspect of it. grip is comfortable and feels as if it will work securely when using to extremes. doesnt float so put a lanyard on to it to your belt or lose it over the side, rigid molded case some sort of plastic, slightly flexible so may not crack in use? only time will tell, holds knife securely but there is no strap to hold the handle so try the lanyard trick or lose it, having said that it takes some force to release the knife from the case, seems ideal for my use sailing fishing but too light a weight for every day camping though would manage some camping jobs food prep one that springs to mind, if you want to chop wood get something with a broader and heavier blade, would make a useful backup knife or good for weight conscious backpackers, good all round value useful kit, nice!
