Woks great, handled all types of line easily. Quick and clean. Small enough to leave clipped to your belt and not in the way.

This is a great little tool to have on the boat or on shore with you. Not only do I use it to cut line I also use it to cut the spines off of spiny fish when I’m using them for bait. The fact they are so inexpensive is great because you can have a few more of them laying around for convenience and accessibility.

Good quality and has proper holes for float attachment using your key chain/cork or bobber.

Kast King 4.5" fishing scissors. I like the smaller size ones because I'm primarily just cutting line and don't want them taking up too much space. They are sharp and cut similarly to the other brand I've used for several years. You can cut mono/fluoro line anywhere along the blade. Braid doesn't really cut well at the tip but the back half of the blade cuts it very cleanly. They come with a lanyard and scabbard. There's a hole on the handle and the scabbard, so you have options to tie the included lanyard (or another of your choice). The scabbard holds the blade fast enough that either tie-off would work for most people. I think I'll stick with lanyarding the handle--with my clumsy luck I'd find a way to accidentally yank the scissors out of the scabbard and overboard. You can tie them together with a second shorter lanyard, as well, if you like everything tied off. I haven't had them long enough to really put them through the ringer. But they cut and provide options for keeping up with them. I will update if I uncover any other relevant insight.

Bought a second pair to keep one in each tackle box. Very sharp and cuts through 12 lb line like butter. Not rust after many uses. Cleans with dawn. Light weight and so far very durable
