The installation is so easy, you can do it yourself. I am a female around age 60 and had fun with this project. The caps are now one year on my fence posts and still look fabulous. Very easy and fast to install as long as the posts are not cut uneven but even then one can adjust and place an extra small piece on one side. Mine look all straight. You would never know that these are made out of plastic. None of them broke and I installed over 30 caps. These come in two parts. I first installed the bottom and screwed them in . The unit provides two opposite sections for it. It was no problem at all and this way I could make sure that it's level. At the end, I just pressed the top down and it snapped in. Best if you make sure that you like your bottom installation because once the top is on, it's difficult to remove which is great because the wind storm keeps the tops were they belong. I also recommend to stain your posts first, just easier and better for the protection of the wood. A fabulous product. which fits perfectly on a 4 x 4 wooden post. I find great pleasure looking at my fence posts and so do many neighbors who keep complimenting the looks of the fence. I just smile because I know how much money I saved! Thanks to the inventor for this terrific product.

Didn’t realize the cap was more of a plastic material. Purchased other aluminum ones but they had a thinner profile. Still sturdy due to screwed in base, so went with them for my posts.

Easy to install and smart looking protection

It came a million times faster than what it said it would. I almost canceled the order because it said it would come in about 2 weeks and I was hoping to start my front porch project like in a couple of days. But when I realized it was a small business I decided it would be worth waiting. And then it literally showed up from my Friday order to Monday. I would highly recommend maybe changing that on the Amazon order part. You might get more orders. :-) but it's very nice quality and I'm glad I waited well I really didn't wait. I thought it would be a little bit thicker but it feels pretty heavy duty and the profile is really nice. The dog seems to approve as well.

The quality of these post caps are unreal. I've had them for 3 years now and they are bulletproof. They haven't faded at all from the outdoor elements and they look amazing. I've recommended these to all my neighbours.

Very easy to install and look great. I found the fitting a bit tight on most 4x6 posts, but a simple twisting off of the plastic protrusions in the cap made everything fit perfectly.
