Back then the original ingredients was less sweeter and it had HICA. I was looking for protien isolate when I came across crazy muscle. At first it tasted bitter so I thought it was a bad batch. After writing to them it was confirm that it was the HICA and to just a little bit more water. Instead of 8oz I up my liquid to 12 oz. The bitterness was non existence. I came to like it cause I was looking for something more serious with little to no fillers. This was it. I introduce this to my nephew who was in the wrestling team and he loved it. We both had noticable gains in muscle mass, recovery, and strength. With the new formula its sweet. Really sweet. No bitterness but really sweet. It taste like commercial protien shakes like ON or Muscle Pharm. It's also a protien blend now. Isolate and concentrate. This is the first time I'm tasting this new formula after my surgery and 3 months of off gym. I hope the bring back the original hica formula...at least bring it back as a different product and keep this product for the people who are used to the sweet commercial taste. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome product with quality ingredients *by B***6 on Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2018* So just like other major competitors this protein can definitely hold its own. It isn't the best tasting like the weight gainers, but that's because of the lack of sugar and fat, which is a good thing. I love the fact that each scoop is 30 grams of protein where most brands offer 20-25. This also has more BCAA's then any other brand which are also essential to growth. I am defiantly satisfied with this brand as it offers quality ingredients and a full profile. This is a must have product if you're serious about you're diet and training. Its also great if you want something just to give you a boost.
