Love this stuff! Feels great on the face and the dispenser is a joy to use.

The Bubble skincare brand is new to me, so I was eager to give this one a try. I have dry, mature, post-menopausal skin and I also use tretinoin, so I need a product that's going to deliver big on moisture. This product absolutely does. The first thing that I noticed is that neither the box nor bottle have a safety seal. You simply open the flip top on the bottle. While I wasn't too happy to see that, the way that this cream dispenses means that nobody would have had their fingers in it, so ultimately, I'm not going to remove a star for that. This is a push-down dispenser, which I prefer because it helps keep your product sanitary. One push gives me the perfect amount for facial coverage. You might need another half press if you're doing your neck too. The scent is reminiscent of sunscreen, to the point that I went back to double check if this cream actually contains sunscreen (it doesn't). The texture is thick and creamy and spreads easily. The seller info says that this gives the richness of a face cream with the feel of a gel moisturizer, but I don't find that to be the case. I have several gel moisturizers, so I know how they feel both in texture and on my skin, and this cream does not feel like that. It's thick and dense enough to leave a light sheen on the skin (see pic). While I'm not complaining about any of that, I just want to point it out, because if you're looking for a product that feels airy and lightweight on your skin, this isn't it. It's deeply moisturizing, and the effects last all day and, if used before bed, throughout the night. Because I'm always on the lookout for non-irritating and non-comedogenic products that support and improve the skin barrier, I'm thrilled to have discovered this cream. It leaves my face glowing! It delivers truly serious moisture at an affordable price, and the size of this bottle means that it's carry-on friendly for travel, too. And because you don't need much at a time, I expect that the bottle will last for a very reasonable length of time. I'm now following this company, and fully intend to try out a few other of their products (and to stick with this one too)!

I’m always on the lookout for moisturizers that can hydrate properly without making my face feel like it’s wearing a winter coat. A lot of creams for dry skin go way too heavy, and a lot of lightweight ones basically disappear into the void and leave you wondering what exactly they contributed. So this one sounded like a good middle ground. What I liked right away is the texture. It has that nice in-between feel where it’s richer than a gel but not thick or greasy like a heavy cream. It spreads easily, absorbs pretty fast, and leaves my skin feeling comfortable instead of shiny and smothered. I’ve been using it as an everyday moisturizer, and it layers really well with the rest of my routine. It sits nicely over serum, and it also works well under makeup without making everything pill or slide around later. That alone earns points because some moisturizers act like they were never told other products exist. The hydration is where this one really does well. My skin feels soft, calm, and hydrated, and it helps with that tight, slightly cranky feeling skin can get when it wants more moisture. It gives enough nourishment to feel like it’s doing something, but not so much that it turns into a greasy situation. I also like that it feels gentle and non-irritating. Sometimes “sensitive skin” products are either bland to the point of uselessness or still somehow manage to annoy your face. This one just quietly does its job. For around $15, I think it’s a pretty solid value. It feels a little more polished than a basic drugstore moisturizer, but it’s still in a price range that doesn’t make you stare at the receipt and question your life choices. Overall, this is one of those moisturizers that’s easy to keep reaching for. It’s lightweight, hydrating, layers well, and makes skin feel comfortable without drama. Honestly, that’s exactly what I want in a daily face cream.

Decent everyday winter moisturizer. This does provide plenty of intense hydration for dry skin but also feels a little heavy and greasy. It takes a while to absorb fully. I would want something a little lighter for the upcoming warmer months. Little to no scent and gentle on my sensitive skin. I find the way it dispenses to be a bit gimmicky but It’s cute with the little flower shaped blob, easy to use one handed and you can control how much comes out with the amount of pressure applied. One pump is more than enough for my face and neck. I will say this also makes a great cream for dry cracked knuckles and the backs of my hands. Decent sized container for the price makes this an excellent value.

The hydration in this Power Wave cream is definitely noticeable, but it comes with a major trade-off in how it sits on your skin. I’ve got older, combination skin that shifts with the seasons, getting quite dry in the winter but leaning oily in summer. This cream was a bit too much for my face even in the drier months. It’s deceptive because it looks like a lighter gel-cream when dispensed, but behaves as a thick, traditional lotion once applied. The result was a waxy residue that felt heavy and never quite sunk in. My face had a shiny, oily look within a few hours, and I noticed a trail of visible fingerprints on everything I had touched after application. Beyond the finish, you have to be very careful with the application area. It caused eye discomfort almost immediately, so if you have similar sensitivity, you’ll want to keep it away from that area. On the positive side, the pump dispenser is a smart, hygienic piece of design that makes it easy to get a consistent amount without any mess. It’s also completely unscented and a decent value for the quantity you get. It’s a very nourishing formula, but the greasy finish and the immediate irritation make it a difficult daily go-to if you prefer a light, natural look for your face. Because of that thickness, I’ve found this is actually a much better fit for the neck and décolletage. Those areas usually need more heavy-duty moisture and aren’t as prone to the oiliness I saw on my face. It provides deep hydration for those spots even if it didn't quite hit the mark as a primary facial cream. Using it this way also helps avoid the eye irritation while still putting a decent, nourishing product to good use.
